Okay, so yes, I'm the Ghost Host... how many of you are really surprised?

Anyway, we've reached the final two: Childlike Wild and kypade. These two have some work ahead of them. Each jury member should expect a nice personal note from them within the next couple days. Jury members, also be sure to check the thread for a lovely essay by each of our finalists.

For our two finalists... I'll be sending out your final challenge PMs shortly.

Just so everyone knows what to expect. Here's the schedule for the Finale:

The final two must complete their challenge tasks by 10 pm Wednesday. At that time the voting PMs will be sent out.

All votes must be in by 2 pm Friday. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.


The original group of 24 is carefully divided into three tribes of 8 from before the game begins. The tribes are constructed and built based on playing experience, talent and ability.

Each 'day' is marked by a new challenge. Each tribe will receive team challenges (instructions for challenges will be explained for each challenge). Right answers during challenges will obviously earn points and wrong answers will be worth none. The tribe with the most points at the end of the 'day' (or round) wins immunity. The tribe with the least points must vote off one of their members via PM in a tribal council. Also, in this game... immunity may be decided by something other than trivia. You will be completely briefed on this before it happens, so do not fret. In the event of any ties, first team with their answers in will win... unless stated otherwise in your specific challenge PM.

If your tribe happens to win three days in a row, then they'll be given a gift in addition to their immunity: they'll go to tribal council on behalf of the other tribe and they'll vote off ANYONE IN THE GAME THAT THEY CHOOSE.

At some point the three tribes will be merged into one tribe. The game will only have one merge at a time already designated. Only the hosts will know about this day until the time it actually happens. Until that time, there will be mandatory trading set aside on a day that will be specified at a later time. Once the merge takes place, the challenges will then be for individual points and only one individual will win immunity.

Hype! Survivor is a game of both strategy and deception. Alliances are both permitted, and encouraged. So find a friend, and sex their brains out. Masterminding and forethought are the keys to success. Laziness and ineffective play will both be penalized and exposed. Hosts have the right to intervene at any point in the game for the sake of keeping dead weight out. As a side note: alliances can be with any of the 24 players... doesn't matter who they are... doesn't matter what tribes they're on... just make sure it's someone you trust... or not. As the old saying goes: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

***NEW*** The hosting duties in this game will be a little different. In order to ensure balance and fair play, a third host will be heavily involved in the game. They will review questionable calls and challenges, and they will also break up conflicts between the two active hosts. In order to allow the game to flow smoothly, their identity will not be revealed until the end so their integrity to the game's fairness may never be questioned. They may also silently assist in challenge structures and the like. In case the Ghost Host feels the issue is too complex to rule on, we'll bring in a Ghost Jury. Both 'sides' will argue their case as complete as possible, and a group of Hype! Survivor experts will read both arguments and make the call. The hosts will be powerless to overturn the judgment call at this point.

The final Jury will be composed of 9 people: everyone voted off from the remaining nine players who didn't make the finals, and as a bonus, the two game hosts will also have a vote in the Jury by the merits of a final challenge. They will not be responsible for collecting the votes, and will not see the outcome until everyone else does. The work of collecting votes will be up to the Ghost Host! The complete Jury will vote FOR WHO THEY THINK SHOULD WIN of the final two remaining players to find the winner of the Hype! Survivor.

A note on cheating: Kipobe is a whore. It's very easy to cheat in this game. Very, very easy. Some of the rounds will be much more difficult to cheat at than others (some will be downright impossible to cheat on). Regardless, hosts have ways of catching you, and sometimes will even set up traps for you. If you feel you have to cheat, by all means, go ahead... but if you're caught, you WILL be penalized. Again, specific rules of what's legal or not will be in each challenge PM.

Please keep in mind that these rules are subject to change with warning. They're merely a guideline for the game, and specific details may crop up here and there. Play hard, read carefully, and allow your cutthroat skills to shine forth. Voila!

Tukiluka: Probably the best Survivor player ever (to win at least). You were pretty absent the first half of the game due to being banned on sight and pretending to be MC. But the 2nd half of the game you did great. I'm proud of you. Except you didnt do the last challenge either so **** you too.

Brodie: Suck a fat one.

4 different classes of people...

The Graveyard are the ones who didn't make the final 9 or weren't selected for the Usurper's challenge. They're the bottom level and deserve not even to be alive in any shape or form. :down

The Replacements are a tad more respectable. Some of them weren't even voted out including Pickles who managed to rack up absolutely zero votes her entire game and yet was kicked out twice. Phenominal. They're entitled the replacements because if someone on the jury fails to do their assignment, then Daisy may select anyone of them to take their spot on the Jury at her whim.

The jury, obviously, is a little higher in the rankings. They made the final portion of the game and managed to outwit many to make it as far as they did. They, however all died from being voted out at one time or another, and deserve to sit and watch the show rather than finish it out with the final two.

The finalists. The elite of the listed players above. They're soley depending on a vote in their favor. Both these players have had back to back finals appearances, and yet no wins. Whoever wins will have made the finals three times with one win, and whoever loses will be a three time finalist loser. :heart: Great and interesting matchup, I must say.

PS - I like how I put Toven on the jury sitting between Brodie and Max. That's funny. :yay: I'm at the end with Sofa:heart: VD is nowhere to be found... unless you count my venerial diseases.

This was a good game. Awesome job, Toven and Kipobe. I love you both, and want to rape you!

kypade, I'm sorry. I love you. I really do. But lets face it, you've done nothing since you came back into the game. And neither you, nor I, belonged back in the game to begin with. We lost. We got voted out fair and square.

Also kypade, yer playing icky! You tried to be everyone's friend, and didn't want to get your own hands dirty. When you allied with me, you knew what I would do. You knew I'd hatchet anyone I thought would be a threat to beat me, you or CLW. But unlike CLW, you got all crybaby when the dirty work had to be done.

I've told kypade all along that I would only go as far as the final three, and then let him and CLW fight it out for the win. With this knowledge, kypade just sat back and let me and CLW do all the work. It's a smart enough plan. People who fly under the radar letting others get their hands dirty frequently win. I've lost that way, when I played a better game. Toven lost that way, when she played a better game, and jack wins everytime by letting people work for him! :cmad:

So yeah, I realize kypade will probably win because kypade played nice. But kypade didn't play the best game. And with Kipobe and Toven hosting such a great game, it would blow to see another undeserving champ win.

CLW played hard (she stayed up all night to win a challenge!)
CLW had the pressure of playing as the mole
CLW stayed loyal
And most importantly, CLW never got voted out

CLW just flat out played a great game. I know that person rarely wins, an I know kypade is a good guy...but I hope CLW gets rewarded for doing a great job.

I wanted someone from the plagued crew to graduate... not that I was knocking the new players because they're an integral part of the game, and anyone of the ones who got as far as they did deserved to be there because they'd be facing the best... but I wanted a fair amount of experience to be involved in the win rather than a fluke win.

We got voted out fair and square.To be fair, I haven't had internet/computer access more than an hour or so a day since before the Usurper's challenge, and all the computers at school suck, plus, who the **** wants to be on superherohype in a busy computer lab? :o

Also kypade, yer playing icky! You tried to be everyone's friend, and didn't want to get your own hands dirty. When you allied with me, you knew what I would do. You knew I'd hatchet anyone I thought would be a threat to beat me, you or CLW. But unlike CLW, you got all crybaby when the dirty work had to be done.This is untrue...I tried to be two people's friends...CLW and Max. (Well, if you ignore the venom/sofa thing, but that;s another story). Truth is, I didn't know that you'd "hatchet" anyone that wasn't me or CLW, cuz, well, you told me otherwise. And THAT's where the problem came...it wasn't your plan or whatever...I can, and do, understand that...it was the fact that as far as you I thought you knew, and as far as you knew I thought you knew, CLW, you and I were supposed to make three...but in reality, you and CLW made two. Yknow? It had nothing to do with playing nice or being crybaby, it was a fundemental difference in how our brains work...mine says "win, but don't shoot your brother in the forehead in the process"; yours says "shoot your brother in the forehead, but only because he's standing in front of the target." That's the only thing I ever took issue with...Why didn't you warn your brother he was in the way, that you were gonna pull the trigger.

I've told kypade all along that I would only go as far as the final three, and then let him and CLW fight it out for the win. With this knowledge, kypade just sat back and let me and CLW do all the work. It's a smart enough plan. People who fly under the radar letting others get their hands dirty frequently win. I've lost that way, when I played a better game. Toven lost that way, when she played a better game, and jack wins everytime by letting people work for him! :cmad: Again...it was not a matter of "kypade's lazy" or "kypade saw that the finale was easy and didn't try". Everyone knows I can play this game and I'm not really one to sit back and do the whole radar limbo crap...even in my first game when no one knew me and I did get by somewhat on quiet, I won plenty of individual immunities when I needed to. But here, there was no merge until some ridiculously late game, and a whole lot of the challenges were subjective, team-work types. That just wasn't for me. Plus, again, every day since I came back I've been without a computer. :down (Well, except Thurs-Friday ish, and whaddaya know, I was the only one to do that challenge).

So yeah, I realize kypade will probably win because kypade played nice. But kypade didn't play the best game. And with Kipobe and Toven hosting such a great game, it would blow to see another undeserving champ win.

And most importantly, CLW never got voted out

CLW just flat out played a great game. I know that person rarely wins, an I know kypade is a good guy...but I hope CLW gets rewarded for doing a great job.

Finally, I agree with you. CLW deserves to win this game. She played great, and I got effed over once too many times to deserve the win. Thats what I had planned to pm everyone else. But I think you're underestimating her anyway, cuz I'm pretty sure I would have struggled to get 4 votes on her had I genuinely cared enough to solicite votes. I don't think you realize how bad this "anti-kypade (in-survivor,-anyway) stigma has gotten...these people, for the most part, have an unnatural urge to see me lose. History of Survivor

Once upon a time, there was a reader. The kid read a lot, and he made his parents call him "Reader." Then one day he discovered SuperHeroHype!, and he signed up. His screenname was "Reader" because he was a reader. His favorite book was Lord of the Flies. I don't know the cause of this.

On SHH!, little Reader decided to make a name for himself. He would create a game! All the easy spammy thread ideas were taken, so Reader sat down on his tiffet and cried. Then along came a spider, who sat down near R..ider, and gave him a game to play.

So Hype Survivor was born. Little Reader hosted the game a few times, but then decided that he could do it no longer. It was a liottle trivia game, and Reader was tired of trivia. New hosts came along, who thought hosting would be fun. These people were idiots.

Brodie was up first. He's corrupt and disorganized, but somehow that's his charm. Toven also hosted. She's corrupt and slightly *****y, but that's her charm. The charm of Kipobe was the everlasting question of, "Will he finish what he started?" TheCheshireCat was sassy, and Tukiluka ran the game with style. These were good times for the little Survivor players.

There was darkness, though, marring this beautiful picture of happiness and fun. jackcool loomed on the horizon, never coming foreward to turn his **** in. This drove the hosts mad, and they banned them.

Then everyone was happy again.

The winners of the game were the elite. Except for those who weren't, which, let's face it, was most of them. Kessel Day, Godlovinspidey, and about ten other people no one remembers. Why does no one remember them? Because they suck. That's why.

Good people won too, but let's not focus on that. What's important here is that on one fine day, Tukiluka and I hosted. And God said, "Let Hype be gay!" And Hype was gay. And God said, "Let Hype be slow!" And that was pretty much the same as being gay, so God called it a day and decided to go screw with some other bull****.

Then Hype stopped being flamingly homosexual, but the search was still iffy. But the people played survivor anyway. And Kipobe and Toven hosted, and it was good. And God said, "'It was good' is my line!" And God was smote, smitten, kitten.

Then Kipobe and Toven hosted, and children cried with joy, and either kypade or CLW/I won, and the hosts saw that it was cool, because they're not really as mean as they pretend to be.

kyp and I weren't formally allied in that game, but we had enough odd conversations in the thread that I didn't want to vote him out. Plus, he talked to me even though jack wouldn't. So, informal sorta kinda alliance I guess.

The thing about Kessel was that I'm not sure she had a conscious strategy. Maybe she did. Maybe she was just your Kmack. In a game like that one though, with Tuk's trivia, you gotta hand it to the guy who wins multiple individual immunities.
