Hey, see if this makes any sense to you... Nintendo is releasing their cables for $30.
Madcatz are releasing component cables for $60.

Off the bat, the choice is obvious, right? I'm hearing that Madcatz is the better fit because they're offering as high as 720i in graphics which is basically HD quality. There's a chance that down the line Nintendo will offer all the way HD quality cables, but for now Madcatz has the highest resolution cables.

So Nintendo is going HD after all? It appears to be on the low, that's why Nintendo avoided making the cables a priority from the start... but the Wii apparently is supposed to last the entire generation even on through to the HD era.
