I figure everyone will have questions, like I have had already...so just ask 'em and hope someone can help. Or if you beat something particularly hard, just post how ya did it.

I'll start: How do you beat Riot?

Do the codes from gamefaqs work? If so how do you input them? I tried at the FOS menu (where they tell you to do it) but nothing happens.

That's Riot. Just get him isolated in an alley, all of them. Then, heat vision them to a pulp.

Go to cheatcc.com, the codes there work. Im on the 360 & you only get a confirmation only after you put the code in the very first time.

hey what's up guys,
in the game when you pick up an object such as a car, how do you just let it down without throwing it? I realized throwing them takes life away from the metropolis life meter.

edit: nevermind, found out what to do, just press the circle button.. :)

where do you go to turn into bizarro for free roam?

After you save a cat for the first time, Mr. Mklptlick (sp?) shows up and tells you to follow his challenges.
After that, you just go around to all of the bronze superman statues around the city. there is a little purple glow there like the one that is around missing cats. walk/fly through the glow and you will be changed into bizzaro for the challenges.

However you cant free roam as bizzarro. what happens is you are given a set amount of time (about 2 mins) to do a set number or damage to the city. if you do that much or more, then you have beaten the challenge.

Actually, you can. Simply beat the game and go to the tallest building after watching the dvd's special feature.

Dude theres no way you found all those cats without a guide

the controller vibrates (on ps2 at least) when you get near one, then the closer you get, the more violent the vibrations.

It seriously did not take that long.

plus, when you hear the cat "meow", that also comes out of the speaker in the direction of the cat: cat to the left, left speaker. cat in front, both. cat behind, both but quiet.

but, yeah, i have the guide. In the guide though, the way they do it is they just put little numbers onto the metropolis map. Its harder with the guide.

what's the cheat code for playable Bizarro?

bhogg
12-03-2006, 03:33 PM
Speaking of cheat codes, how do you put them in?

I have the ps2 and have not gotten any of them to work. I'm trying to put them in a game that I had been playing already (34% complete thus far).

I'm trying the unlimited metro health code and I'm not real shure what "right up" is.

Also, do you use the D-pad or the triggers or the analog stick?

Thanks for helping and old guy out :)

directions correspond to the directions on the d-pad

Apologies for the seperate thread.

I must have spent 3 hours last night, trying to beat Outkast.

How on earth do you do it, when he grows large ?

It is really annoying as you have to start at the beginning again, when he beats you.

Any hints would be appreciated.

Is this the gladiator bit at the beginning? Fly around and punch the columns, they collapse. Throw the big pieces of stone at him. When he gets ready to do the dome of energy thing sonic speed fly straight up or against the wall. If you are taking damage hit the button that replenishes your energy. Wear him down and when he quits being giant you can vary throwing things, punching, heat vision or freeze to take him out (I can't remember which one works on him better). You can be thrown away by him getting ready the dome of energy thing so the sonic boom takeoff is also useful at the end.

I just discovered a incredibly awesome thing on the Xbox 360 version of SR! I ripped the SR soundtrack to the hard drive & turned down the music on the game & used the music from the movie soundtrack instead, i dont know if other people are doing this but it makes the game have a new incredible feel with the original music. You can access the soundtrack in the dashboard.

This game was so disappointing and it annoyed me how they had a hard boss right at the beginning of the game. I played this for about three hours and will probably never play it again. It's a shame Activision (the makers of SM2 game) didn't make this game as it had so much potential. They would have probably done it so much better than EA.

i'm pretty sure you can't......(i'm not sure how it works on 360 but) one joystick/d-pad controls Superman's altitude and the other controls his direction/tilt

I just threw a bunch of cars at it, & it eventually fell down. It was weird because i didnt think it could be moved, i tossed a car at it on accident & i saw it move.

lol nice... i was woundering myself if n e one else did. I'll get to my ways of doing that in a sec.

ANSWERS! (to most questions)

BEATING THE DRAGONS:
Fire Dragons: fly/charge each one individually as yer locked onto em and freeze them. THey'll Freeze by the time you get to em and with yer charge, u break em...

ICE Dragons: Same thing, just with heat blast

HOW TO DEFEAT RIOT: I found it easy to ice em, then beat the snot outta him. Its most effective (as i found it to be). Or you can toss each into the water. Its fun, but takes longer.

BIG GUY THAT GROWS: (forgot his name, sorry) Beat him up, and when he grows, throw cars at him... if yer still in the dome, find things around you to throw at him. He'll shrink back, then rush back to him and beat the crap outta him.

FREE ROAM BIZZARO: As i hear it, theres a code you must do.

BIG SUPERMAN STATUE: Not being a fan of Superman, i felt this sadamn like character needed to fall (HA HA HA) So i dashed at him.

HARD WAY: Its not easy, IF yer going to attack from front. I found its easy to (and please dont repeat this to your parents) go all the way to suicide slum, (flying) charge him, use air breath, and aim for his croch. IT WORKS! I SWEAR I'm NOT JUST BEING A PERV! The legs keep u surrounded, and his cape wont let you out.

EASY WAY: Charge him from behind. Aim for the mid section of his cape.

BEATING BIZZARO MISSIONS: This part SUCKED! I could not beat ANY of them... till i learned how to use the cork screw attack. I dunno if yer using 360 or PS2, so look in yer moves list for this attack. Go after combos by going for cars that are lined up. Helps ALOT!

FINDING FAST FLYERS/BIZZARO MISSIONS: I found it was easy when yer up high and lookin down. These markers glow. Although, i did find some not so easy, like Midtown whatever. They'll stand out when yer in the clouds, but the easiest is when its dark (end of game). They really glow.

Kittens: I'm still on the kittens. little jerks are hidden everywhere... i think i have 60-61... So, really if anyone can post a picture from the guide, where they are on the map... i'd appreciate it ALOT.
