well, I've always been a fan of Superman IV... I've said it before, I liked the fight scenes of this movie more than Superman II because 1) I was a kid and didn't understand the love storyline and 2) it was the first Superman movie I saw Superman really get down and dirty with a villain.

IV was embarrasing for all involved, including anyone watching it. Terrible story and worse sfx than the first one. That clip demonstrates this perfectly. Ugh, I hate it that its with the Ultimate Collection that I bought, although I consider it free when you factor in everything else you get.

Same here. As just a innocent child watching this on tv one aftertoon, I thought it was coooooool, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Superman was fighting this dude and that's all that mattered!!1:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

I felt that way too as a child, but sometimes you can't let nostalgia control you.

just look how he glides off above everyone at the end of the clip!

Superman should have used rebuild vision to fix Mount Rushmore in Superman 2. Now all he needs is heal mortal wounds vision.
