View Full Version : Moviefan's "Supergirl" Idea...

OK, before all you "she's nothing but a mockery, ripoff, etc." freaks start hassling me or anyone else, please take the time to read this. It's something I thought up about a possible plotline for a future film of "Supergirl". I'm not pulling a rehash of the 1984 flick, though; no magic-obsessed amateur witches or Omegahedrons...here we go...
Floating through the cosmos, on the biggest remaining piece of Superman's homeworld...Vandirax, the "Last City of Old Krypton" and home to some 20,000 people. But one of them, Kara, is restless, and wishes to join her cousin on his adoptive planet. Her parents, Zor-El and Allura, died during Krypton's destruction, and she no longer wishes to be stranded from what remains of her family. So, she leaves in a small ship, which crashes on Earth, and makes her way to Metropolis. Unlike Kal-El, she has read about the effects of yellow sunlight on Kryptonians, and enjoys using her powers, albeit responsibly. Seeing a picture of "Clark Kent" in a Daily Planet paper, she puts the facts together, and confronts him with her existence. Unsure at first, he soon becomes convinced of her honesty, and begins training her for the same destiny he has. But when Superman is severely wounded in a fight with both Doomsday and Brainiac, Kara Zor-El is forced to reveal her powers to the public and save not only the world, but the only connection she has left...
What do all of you think? Suggestions, opinions? (preferrably more of the former)...

Sounds great. I would like to see Kara & Superman have a small battle between themselves before they learn that they are related.

Milla Jovovich is the one , here face have the factions a little bit like Chris and Routh! she is old ????? she is not a 17 girl! but is young and can look more young if they whant! is for only one movie anyway! I dont think that we need more then one movie of this character! the girl that you like looks like a PORNO XXX star!!!! Milla looks more natural person and have a amazing beautiful rare face!

I know she is not a porno star, but she looks as one!! You say that Milla doesn`have the built for it! SHE HAVE THE BEST FACE; THE BEST BODIE ! do you see here in resident evil and ultraviolet? for me, we don have to look only for a blonde girl! we have to look a girl who get the rigth face tolook a little like an alien and a body and a good performace as an actress! milla looks like an alien, she can look very sweet or very dangerous! is very talented !!

Short? she is a model !!!!!!! models are not short! and thin? you never hear about training to made an actor look better in a character? You would tell me that Christian bale it was to thin to do batman, dont you?

I know! Milla and Elisha are not going to be Supergirl !! as Crispin Glover, he is not going ( and he was more than PERFECT) to be the Joker!! but Hollywood lost the vision to made good castings!
Using Milla for Supergirl isn't good casting, it's dumb
