One question though... How did you get the video, voice overs and music to match? All the clips I've found already has music and dialogue attached to the existing video, so adding music to it would only muffle the existing sounds.

That was very cool, the music was nothing less than something I'd expect to be official. However, you can't call that a recap. ^^ Anyone new who saw the trailer would assume Mary Jane is dead, because you have the clip of her being pulled inot the fusion reaction and then "AFTER SACRIFICE". ^^

I only knew how to make sigs. It is my second trailer in the series and my new ones are better..but unfortunatly I used some leaked footage..

I agree with you gtkilla, windows movie maker does suck, you can only have two audio tracks at one time as in the audio from the video and the music with it, ive never heard of sony vegas, but nerovision is quite good.

Damn good editing. That's probably the best fan SM3 trailer I've seen up until now. I think Youtube's conversion threw off the timing by a half second though.

-please watch-... for some reason I did (never really do, cause so many of them suck!) This tv-spot was very good! Very well edited together and drives the message home exstremely well! Spider-man will be back on May 4th with FULL thunder!

When making a fan made tv-spot, this is the way to do it! Dont try and put in every single bit of spiderman 3 footage that is available out there! Make it short clean and powerful, like this one! Most importened make it run smoothly!!! No stop in audio or bad editing, like mentioned above. when that happens, it's all over for me. Make it look original AND official.... well, as much as possible! That's the fun part and the cool challenge of making a fanmade tv-spot...All can make them, but not all work!

thanks Spider-Steve, do you use imovie or windows movie maker? I know how to use both. It is just a matter of importing the clips correctly so that they work. Any other help from anybody here would be greatly appreciated.

I think you can find a trial version at the official sony website. But it's a large download, about 150 megs. I got the full version from a friend, It costs like $400 at retail.

If you guys want a good video editing program I suggest you buy or download Nero Start smart, which contains an editing program called Nerovision and I thinks it's much better then Windows movie maker. Im currently working on putting all the clips of Spiderman 3 in Chronological order (from information we have recieved), to the backing of the whole trinity song, but I'll probably wait untill the new trailer comes out, to finish it.

I thought you can download 25 mb within an hour, otherwise you have to wait another hour for another file.

Sony should be ashamed for wasting this trailer as a Comic Con Preview. That was such a "holy *****, what's going on? I gotta see this!" reacting trailer than all the official crap they've pulled out thus far. Don't really care what footage gets shown, the editing and epic music was just entirerly superior to everything else they've pulled out and really is all that would be neccessary to get both casuals and comic-book fans to see this film. Even better is the fact that after you've watched it you don't feel like you've watched a watered-down version of the whole damn movie. If this and the teaser was all we got I'd be much more confident in this movie beating POTC this year.
