Holy s**t, that's not music. She might be the worst musician I've ever heard.

Also, I tried watching SNL and couldn't take any more after about 30 seconds. That show can't last much longer. :down

I hate Gwen Stefani with a passion...her music sucks a big one. And SNL has been going downhill ever since the major players like Ferrel, Tracy Morgan, Horatio, etc... left. That show and Mad TV both suck now and it makes me angry.

I didn't see it but I heard/saw her on the Billboard music awards. It was the funniest thing. I don't know if it's motherhood or just bad management. I mean someone has to approve this **** before it's finalized.

I still haven't forgiven her for marrying Gavin Rosedale and breaking up Bush. BTw, I think that No Doubt was better before she was a lead singer. Remember way back when they were like an 11 member band with brass instruments, and that dude was singing?

Does anyone remember that first album? That was the shiz.

Agreed. Plus...lets face it, guys. SNL has ALWAYS had its ups and downs.

1975-1980--> The CLASSICS
1980-1981--> Worst season EVER
1981-1984--> The Eddie Murphy Show
1984-1985--> Big stars but nothing special.
1985-1986--> LORNE IS BACK but why is Anthony Michael Hall in the cast :huh:
1986-1990--> SNL is funny again :woot:
1991-1994--> The BEST SNL since `75-80
1994-1995--> Too silly
1995-2004--> Funny :)
2004-Present--> Biggest crap since 1980

So, there you have it folks. As for Gwen...I like her. Her new stuff may suck but I'm sure she'll deliver the goods again. :yay:

It's really not an insult to say that a girl sucks balls, you know. If anything, it creates a line of men to her place of residence. On that note, while Gwen isn't the best singer, she does have a decent pair of, as my granddaddy used to say, "soup coolers."

It'll last because it's an institution by now.

NBC without SNL is like CBS without 60 Minutes, or ABC without Babwa Waltews.

Walters will eventually die.
60 Minutes still does acceptable work/ratings.

Last year, SNL, apparently had the worst ratings year in their 31 years. The Today Show is never going away for NBC but if Lorne ever retires I don't expect SNL to live on, NBC will cancel it, and do it cheaper.

When they had ups and downs the downs were replaced with a new cast and group of writers. They are dragging it out. The host selection for the most part for the past two seasons have been good, previous ones were 'what if we were on MTV', its the writing.

SNL started going down when Adam McKay quit and wasn't there for the new season in 2001.

But Alec Baldwin should have his own sketch comedy show.

And that was over twenty-years ago. Comedians/improvisers/writers have a lot more options to get noticed these days. SNL was pretty close to be getting canceled at the end of Lorne's first year back, and Jim Downey whose seen it all on SNL, hates how the suits have gotten more control over the show and knows that once Lorne leaves its only a matter of time before NBC ****s it up.

I hope it happens, that new talent comes in and saves the show but they're putting on a show that still operates from a thirty year old system involving late nights and drugs.

I don't know. I doubt it will be so easily cancelled. The show is an institution like Cyclops said. Its like saying, "NBC will one day cancel Today or Tonight Show." The show is an institution by this point and it won't be easily cancelled. I think NBC will rather experiment with different ideas instead of cancelling it.

That's surprisingly cool of you to not bend over for the ruling religion. I mean, I believe in the whole God thing for some reason, but really, the emphatic bellowing of Jesus' name is part of the daily vernacular, wrong or not, I figure God'll get over it, lest nobody get in heaven.

You know, there was a time when "Ass" and "B****" weren't allowed by the FCC, but then, apparently, they grew up (to some degree)........LOL, that's weird, btw, how you can say the word "B****" on prime time network television, but it's asterisked HERE.
