Hey everyone. Since Project Blue Tights only puts up DC trailers, I wanted to know if anyone wanted to see my Ghost Rider trailer. I compressed it down to 5 MB, so I can e-mail it to anyone who wants to see it. If you'd like to see it, just post your e-mail address or PM me. Also, if anyone can think of a site I can post this on, that'd be great.

Very cool Lighthouse......only i wish it had a blazing skull in it...heh
but i do admit its mighty hard to find some footage w/ that...
however, there was the opening credits for "Live and Let Die" which had a flaming skull....and from what i can remember there was even a GRish type of scene in one of those Nightmare on Elm Street movies. think a guy got bonded to his motorcycle and caught on fire? when i saw the scene w/ the bike and rider on fire in the distance it looked a little like GR...and the Scorpion fatality move in Mortal Kombat of course. that had a really nice close up of a scowling skull.

I put information that a "fan=trailer" is available by Lighthouse, and that if a visitor wants to view the movie, to e-mail me and I can send it to them through e-mail or an instant messanging service...

I would host the file too, but I am using "borrowed webspace" from the great (and often feared) Malice... so I'm not sure if he'll let me host the file or not.. for bandwidth reasons..

I can contact him, and let him know that you've made a trailer for Ghost Rider.. and maybe he'll let this one special time pass... but I can't say or not..

I have Yahoo! Messanging, although it's been acting up recently.. but I'll try and get it working.. My IM on Yahoo is MarvelMania2001, and on AIM is Marvel587...

Or, if you can "zip" the file using Winzip.. and get it below 10 mb.. you can try sending it through e-mail to MarvelMania2001@yahoo.com and I'll send that version out instead of the "lower-quality" version.. but I hope more fans do get a chance to view the trailer, since it is quite good... if I do say so myself..

Wow, this thread is still around. I'm really glad people are enjoying it. I'm not sure if I really want to do another Ghost Rider trailer. These usually take a long time to make, and I just don't have any ideas of what I could do for another one. Stay tuned though. I have some new ideas I'm doing on Blue Tights, and somewhere in the back of my head I'm trying to come up with a Preacher trailer.

we might even get one sooner once they start shooting. from what i remember they put a Punisher teaser trailer together before they even went in front of the cameras. i think that trailer came out almost a full year before the movie.
hopefully they could somthing similar for GR w/ a brief shot of the cgi flaming skull

Yeah, I remember that little Punisher teaser. I was quite surprised how early it was. I mean, it wasn't much but it was definatly cool to see the trademark guns and symbol. Perhaps you're right... maybe we'll see a teaser soon. Not soon, but soon enough I guess.

I just finished Editing a small Ghost Rider Teaser using a little bit of the Comic Con Footage & the new Ghost Rider Reveal Footage. It is not edited perfectly but I did my best :up:

i would have used Catetaker's line from the comic con trailer (where he mentions GR was a bounty hunter from hell) but hey it still works!
now if anyone can set that to some classic metal (Sabbath for instance) it would be 100% perfect :D

Check out this trailer on youtube which says "unreleased trailer". It appears to be all the footage from all the trailers we've seen seamed together in a rough way but watch the whole 4 minute thing. It says this guy made it as a home trailer but I don't remember that ending footage.

At the end Nic has this cool scene I've never seen before where he says "Let's Ride" and then he flames on. Gotta see this. That part is at minute 3:33 into it.

There's also a scene with him coming out of the water and something kind of jumps on him I don't remember that one. Be patient and watch it all.

Some of the footage is from the old comic-con, and some is from the last trailer...not the brand new one but the one before that. I forgot he jumped all the trucks in the first one and obiously it was worth delaying the movie cause the helicopters make it look so much better. You can see the original old footage with the "flaming head" placements that Harry Knowles thought was the real footage. LOL There's 2 or 3 parts I just don't remember ever seeing though. I love the ending with the radar gun...I remember that part.

It's actually cool cause it shows the progress of the film in one sitting.

The 'let's ride' part needs to be cut. That actually kind of killed the International Teaser. It looked good (the CGI and everything) but it was too corny. And it didn't look painful.

hmmm..dont think so...Barton dies when they are both at an old cheap carnival...its a very low budget setting. not even 1 helicopter involved....check out the ceiling above young Johnny's head when he is leaning over his dying father...its a tent.
think its even set in the early 1980's too.....lots of extras were dressed up in bad 80s clothing..heh

Tecno ... if you watch the full trailer off the sony site you will see Nic Cage / Johnny B. interviewed in the red suit by Eva (Roxanne) Mendes first ... it is him in the jump. The flashback is of Johnny's dad after a different stunt. Hope that helps ... watched it far too many times ... 79 to go! :ghost: :ghost:

Right f***ing now, I'm about to ***** mypants. The Ones, that trailer, it was MAGICAL!! A masterpiece. Not only better than official GR trailers and other fan trailers, it was on par with some of hollywood's best trailers, like King Arthur (My favorite trailer).

The trailer's ideas were awesome but the perfect cutting and using the best clips with better music and an overall pro touch that almost no fan trailer has, this is a SUPERB work and I really really think MSJ should see this. (I know they kouldn't use most of the clips in trailers because of green band and intense transformation but this trailer, The Ones work, should have been the official trailer for the film.:up: :woot: :wow: :ghost:

Recently, I've had a lot of success with converting videos and file sizes.

Using VirtualDub, Quicktime Pro, RAD Video Tools, and a few other converters... the file sizes have been relatively low (usually below 50 mb for the most part), with various formats (.mov, .avi, .wmv).

If you need any help, feel free to ask.
