Its the start of a brand spankin' new year and I was just curious what some of you plan on doing (resolutions, goals, etc.). Me personally, I'm going back to school on Jan. 15th for an associates degree and heading to a police academy afterwards. Which, will kind of suck because I also work full-time on graveyard shifts as a security guard at our casino (I head to an 8am class right after I leave the casino at 7:30am). Its going to be tough but I gotta do something with my life other than working here forever. I also plan on getting more into shape (need to bulk up a bit and get my wisdom teeth yanked). Its gonna be a tough year.

I'll be working hard at developing my music theory skills, which are sadly lacking. Dedicating myself completely to the Musical Theatre program. Working on my auditioning skills. Learning the basics of dance. Working out more (increasing from basically nothing unless you count running up 3 flights of stairs 3 times a day). That's about it.

Find myself a good lady is on the top of the list
And explore exactly what I want to dedicate my life to

It should be an interesting year with those two things. :oldrazz: :whatever:

I've seen it twice, too, and read the book. Is Idina anything like what I've heard on the soundtrack?

Yes she is amazing, I had to see it again as she was just wow, shes left London now, but Kerry Ellis is taking over she is very good.
I love musicals lol.
But Idina is amazing. No one can top her as Elphie.

I think she's great at it because the songs suit her voice so well. She has just one solid, youthful tone to her voice no matter what she's singing, from I'm Not that Girl to the end of Defying Gravity. But Eden Espinosa, on Broadway earlier this year, was just as awesome, though not as consistant. Hehe we should move this to another thread :).

Link? Let's bump it! Hehehe.

I saw it on tour in Toronto too. It was great. Megan Hilty is an amazing Glinda, and such an inspiration. I got to meet her, it was awesome.

Yes, I read the book, but I don't like the world Gregory Maguire created as much as I thought I would.
