Wow really detailed figures, but I really hope that for the final version, they're gona put some shade on the spidey suits, so it defined is muscles.
Venom is really cool, looks a little like a strange man wearing a little to much leather but the fabrics for figures is limited so. I wich we could see a side view of is face though!

Those don't really excite me for the movie, or make me wanna buy them.
If that's the final design of Venom...I hope he looks better onscreen than he does as a toy...the design hasn't got that oomf IMO

Mediacom toy's blow. They are no way like the real costumes at all. They are just doing what they did with the cartoon spider-man mediacom figure..these do not match the movie costumes in anyway..and venoms costume is nothing like that...

I've been a Medicom fan for about a year now, I've got the Wolverine figure they did from X3 and it's awesome, the costume is so well designed and tailored.
I'll be getting the Symbiote Spider-Man figure and the Venom figure from the new RAH releases, I'm not too sure I like the red and blue one, but I'll save some cash there for more SM3 stuff so it's all good as far as I'm concerned.
Medis figures are expensive, but they're really worth the cash if you're on the fence about picking them up.
They're Marvel Movie line is especially great and is my favourite line out there at the moment.

man, the only thing i don't like about the blue and red spider man is that i wish they made the webbing on the red a texture so it extrudes instead of looking like it was stitched in with black material and make the webbing a silverish black and then that is a must buy, but i'm on the fench about it, espically when i want the medicom carnage and boba fett.

They look like cheap toys to me. The costume looks like it doesn't fit. Since when does Spider-Man's costume have folds of extra fabric? It's supposed to be a skin tight outfit. The boots on the real suit look like they are part of the costume. On these figs, they look seperate, like a cowboy boot. The detail is lacking too. I've seen more detail on a $5.99 toy.
I'd be ashamed to have these in my collection.

Problem with skintight suit: no articulation..

Good point, but if it looks terrible why bother? To me it looks terrible. No one can tell me it looks accurate.
That said, these may not be the final product.

no these won't be accurate because of the medicom body inside. the toy itself would have to be made of plastic, but since it's a fabric over a plastic body, it has to be looser for articulation. the good is that you have no visiable gaps in the knees or articulated areas like a 6 dollar toy would, and these are 12 inchs tall.

Don't be fooled
For some reason the proto pics on Medi toys always look like junk but they look much better when released.
A good recent example is the Ghost Rider figure they did for that movie, the in hand pictures looked amazing, but based on the prototype shots it looked like garbage.
Has anyone seen the photos of these figures in the SSC booth at Toyfair, those pics make the figures look much better, I'll add a link so you guys can check em out.

They do look better in those pics. I guess those photos at Toyfair just show it's qualities better, maybe it's the lighting. I still don't like the boots though and the detail is still somewhat lacking. But, they do look better.

i don't think you can get the detail to match that of the movies suit, it's a 12 inch fabric body suit over a platic body. i can't image that you could get that kind of detail in a 12 inch body suit. then you can ask why bother? it's because these figures sell and people like them, alot. i guerrantee that these won't be available for long.

Raised webbing would've made them look better and some more patterning on the suit would've be nice.
Overall though I still think they're one of the nicest items I've seen from the upcoming movie, at least symbiote and Venom are and I'll be getting them both.
