Guys seeking girls dating London

Handsome, Down to Earth,Tall, Intelligent, Gsoh, Male, Seeks Woman.

Hello,

My name is Christopher but most people call me Chris.

I enjoy long walks, the arts, cinema, theatre, cafes and bars. I especially enjoy good conversation over a glass of wine.. care to join me?

Been told that I'm down to earth, friendly, intelligent, young looking (often mistaken for being in my late 20s), told that I’m good looking, well spoken, passionate, confident, fun, and have a great sense of humour. Without wishing to sound dull, I am also sensible and reliable, but like to enjoy myself and I do not always take myself very seriously. I'm definitely not your typical 'one of the lads' who spends every night down at the pub drinking too much - I'd rather be with someone special and enjoy each others company..

To provide you with an idea of what I look like: young looking guy (often told that I look in my twenties..) 30s, 6ft tall, slim to medium build, toned, fit, exercise to tone myself up. I am also of South American Indian origin, though was born and raised in London, with a brown complexion. I was raised a catholic and although I am somewhat spiritual I do not practice my, or any other, religion.

I'm a civil servant and live and work in Central London. With my work I have previously lived and worked overseas in sunnier climates.

Ideally I am looking for a woman who is down to earth, warm, attractive and fun, who posesses a great sense of humour.

If you would like to find out more about me, just ask. Perhaps we can have a chat on the telephone sometime. I can assure you that this ad is genuine, as I am genuine, and I would appreciate genuine replies only.

Tell me more about you, and please if possible send me a pic so that I may have an idea who I am responding/talking to.

Christopher

Now you know everything, and homer won't be reaching out for nothing :cwink:

thanx mate. if you can, i'd recommend building your own PC. if you have the technological know-how and are able to maintain a computer then there's really no need to buy a computer whole. with a computer from Dell, HP, Sony, etc. you get a bunch of unecessary stuff that you'll probably never use and if you know how to take care and repair your computer then there's no need for warranties and all that crap.

i have a custom built PC. i forget the specs but i know it's enough for me to be able to do extensive photoshopping with hardly any slow-down. i haven't tried playing any games or doing extensive 3d yet, but i'm sure it can handle most games. for my monitor, i have a 22 inch widescreen Acer which hasn't given me any problems. my only complaint is that it's a tad too dark so watching dark movies is a problem but it's not that big of a deal. for my wacom, i got a 6x8 intuos 3 which i love to death. the feel and features are awesome. i hardly ever use my mouse anymore, even for surfing the net. the fact that i don't feel like i have carpel tunnel anymore is worth the $300 price tag. as for my speakers...i've got the Bose Companion 3, series 2 speakers. definitely the best speakers i've ever had...

...anywho, like i said...i'd recommend building your own computer if you can. even if you can't, getting a computer custom made is worth not having to deal with those stupid pop-ups that warn you about programs you had no clue were on your manufactured computer. if you're good with computers i recommend a custom made computer. if you want a manufactured computer i wouldn't recommend HP or Compaqs. when i was working at CompUSA as the person who checks in computers for repair the majority of computers that came in were HPs and Compaqs. we hardly ever saw any Sonys and Dells weren't nearly as common as HP/Compaqs.

as for a "corel pad"...sorry to say that i dunno what that is.

oic...well the only kind of drawing tablet i would recommend are Wacoms. i go by the old motto "you get what you pay for". i remember getting a 6x8 tablet for less than $200 back in 2002 and it crapped out on me the first day because it wasn't a quality tablet. then i got an already 3 y/o old Wacom that lasted me 3 years up until i let my friend borrow it (he ended up breaking it). if you're serious about putting money down on it then i would recommend it. like i said, it's worth not having that nasty cramp in your hand from using a mouse all the time. as for specifics...if you're getting it for graphics design and point & click then get a graphire since they're cheaper, but if you really want to delve into drawing, illustration, digital painting, etc. then an intuos is the way to go.

I've also heard that they have touch-screen monitors for that kind of thing . . . that would be pretty sweet, but not too sure about how watching movies would work out for that :(
you must be talking about the Cintiq. i used to use one here at my job but the cord started messing up which made the screen turn green. that's not a manufacture problem...the person who had it before me really jacked it up and it was a matter of time before it started REALLY messing up.

i will say that it has it's advantages and disadvantages though. if you can't quite get used to drawing on a tablet (hand/eye coordination issues) then a Cintiq definitely comes in handy.............if you can afford it, lol! and you're right...it poses problems when trying to watch a movie becuase they don't stand up straight like regular monitors do.

thanks for the advice though man

All the talk about receding hairlines a couple of pages back made me remember my receding hairline. It starts above my forehead and keeps to the back of my neck.

I'm 29, and I noticed my hair starting to recede when I was about 20. I grew it long once, and after shaving it off, tried to grow it again. It was f#cking terrible. I looked like a creepy English teacher. So now I'm bald. Or 8-headed as you call it. Luckily for me, it works.

putting a "cover" wouldn't be a bad idea. unfortunately, i'm too lazy to scan all of them...hence why i'll be getting curtains soon.
