Question about Birds of Prey.

Well not on the content itself.... but I'd like to know if anyone remembers a story that circulated a while back. In the legend I've heard, they showed footage of Birds of Prey that was intended to suprise the audience at some comic convention, and when it was done, everyone was left blankfaced about how retarded the premise sounded. Then some guy in the back yelled THATS BULL*****!- to applause.

Anyone know of this story or am I just dreaming?
