Ladies and Gentlemen, in conjunction with Survivor 19, the SHH! Boards will be holding an election for Hype President.

It is my pleasure to present to you the future President and Vice President of the Hype: Mr. Erzengel and Sir ImmortalFire!

Our Vice Presidential Candidate, ImmortalFire, is one of the Hype's oldest and more respected members. Since September 2001 he has delivered great words of wisdom to all he has spoken to. Today he was announced as one of our newest Moderators, though don't hold that against him.

Now our future President is a man that needs no introduction. You have already voted him the Hype It Boy and he shared the title of Poster of The Year in the recent 2006 Hype Awards, Erzengel is loved by all. He has even displayed his willingness to put his life on the line for our benefit with his unforgetable interview "My Dinner with GoldenAgeHero". Erzengel is truly a Poster of the People, a Poster that will lead the Hype to better days.

Call me 'fire. I have been a true blue Hypester since Febuary of 2001, and I've seen so much here. Both Spider-Man movies, the X-Men trilogy, and the all popular phrase "Bale, dammit!" rise and be a top slang.

I was there during the "ORGANICS SUCK!!!!" days.

I was there when Green Goblin's pic was released, when Alfred Molina was cast as Dr. Octopus. But perhaps even more signifigant, I was there for the opening or midnight show of both films. As well as the opening for Batman Begins, X-Men and all Lord of the Rings.

Not only am I devoted comic/fantasy fan, and heavy into sports, but I am a loyal Hypester. I have seen everything from porn posting trolls, to the newest debates on costumes, to GR87's latest claims to prove us wrong. I believe I have a great "lay of the land", if you will, to serve the Hype well.

Mr. Erzengel found it in distaste, and tried to convince the Young Prince to choose another costume. Prince Harry refused. Erzengel, as Prince Harry's guest, had to go along with the Prince's theme or else face humilating the Crown and destroying relations with England.

Mr. Erzengel is quite sorry for any he offended with that costume, as is Master Harry.

Well, I'm conflicted, and here's why:

Candidate #1: Me

I really, really, really like me... possibly more than anyone else in the world. And that kid Darren is okay. He makes me laugh. But we have Asteroid-Man as our tribes lead campaigner. Ugh.

Candidate #2: Erz

I like Erz, so much so I thought he was most deserving for Man of the Year when I did my awards. Plus, he's part Asian, and you never know when you're gonna need someone who's part asian. (scenario eg - "link me to someone part-Asian on SHH or I'll blow you head off") Where would I without him? Dead, that's where. Granted, there's jack, but he's hardly here anymore, and I'd have to log onto other sites to find him. By then, I'm sure the irrational gunman would've killed me.

Candidate #3: Sofa

So anyway, I'm in love with Sofa. Seems like a good reason to vote for her, correct? But there's a problem... she chose Darth as her running mate, and we recently removed Darth from our tribe. Conflict of interest. Besides, a vote for them would mean both our tribes going to council. On the one hand there's a plus here... we'd both have to kick someone off. It would also mean the game would go quicker. On the other side, it would mean voting for Darth and ew, icky.

So there you have it. My run of the candidates. All contain good or bad. Who will I vote for come Wednesday? Tough to say, but early polls say me because duh.
