how is it ripping off of National Treasure? Just because it may have teh Freemasons in it? That's like saying it's ripping of of The Skulls also because they might be in it too. So far that description has nothign about secret buried treasure but instead explore's their religous beliefs.

You could just as easily say that National Treasure "ripped off" of Dan Brown by skewing historical facts to helkp serve a fictional plot.

I looked at stuff and its set in the US, concerns the dollar bill and a few other similarities.

Right, but all of those things have been in conspiracies for a longtime. I mean it's like the Spear of Destiny. That's been used in a number of movies and books, but tht doesn't meanthat everyone is rippin goff of the others (although I am sure some people are). As long as the main quest isn't the same, it should be totally different...hopefully

I'd be willing to bet that Langdon ends up with a female partner in his crazy escapades and that the villain is really a character related to the girl or langdon who seemed like a supporting character with nothing to do with the evil plot until it is revieled that he/she is actually the head of it. And the book will be filled with Langdon doing incredible physical acts because Brown likes to pretend he is Robert Langdon.

Hahaha you definitely have Brown's plotlines pinned. I still like to read his books anyways though lol.

Yeah, I find his books entertaining enough. I used to like Da Vinci code until it became popular and everyone kept trying to insist it was historically accurate, but that's not really Brown's fault.

The title and the basic premise of the book has been well known for a while.

i've been waiting for it to come out.

if you figured out the stuff on the DVC book, you kinda had an idea where it was heading.

if you go with freemasons, there's a lot of symbology and stuff in D.C. that Brown loves to write about.
