Unlike his actors (http://www.hollywood.com/news/detail/id/3608460#), the moviemaker signed on for each of the three Spider-Man movies individually, and he's seriously considering a fourth film (http://www.hollywood.com/news/detail/id/3608460#).

And Raimi (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/190550) feels sure that if he returns, Tobey Maguire (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/188590) and new leading lady Bryce Dallas Howard (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/1338267) will too.

He tells movie magazine Premiere, "I love Spider-Man and I love working with Kirsten (Dunst (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/196567)), Tobey (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/188590), James (Franco (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/187487))...I have to make sure that when I'm done with this picture (Spider-Man 3 (http://www.hollywood.com/movies/detail/id/3464046)). I'm really still fascinated with the character (before signing on for another).

"At this moment I'm fascinated with him."

But Raimi (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/190550) insists he couldn't imagine making a fourth installment if Maguire (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/188590) didn't sign on for it.

He adds, "I'd rather not... I couldn't imagine it."

Not to be snobbish, but the Premiere magazine pages were scanned onto this forum with that info. There was a whole thread on this subject.

WTH! He didn't mention MJ returning....

Could this mean he's gonna have Goblin kill MJ instead of GS!?!?!

He's not. He already mentioned that he would have Dunst return if other complications didn't arise before then, and Harry's only killing one person as according to the script summary.
