HYPE SURVIVOR 19: Creepy on a Whole New Level - Day 7: Decapitation

Welcome to Day 7. Except Abaddon. But he sucks too much to be eulogized so lets just move on.


The Rules (For You Lucky Non-Survivor Fans):
20 people will start this game. 18 will actually play this game.

Each 'day' is marked by a new challenge. Each tribe will receive team challenges (instructions for challenges will be explained for each challenge). Right answers during challenges will obviously earn points and wrong answers will be worth none. The tribe with the most points at the end of the 'day' (or round) wins immunity. The tribe with the least points must vote off one of their members via PM in a tribal council. Also, in this game... immunity may be decided by something other than trivia. You will be completely briefed on this before it happens, so do not fret. In the event of any ties, there will be a tie breaker question in which a tie will not be possible.

If your tribe happens to win three days in a row, then they'll be given a gift in addition to their immunity: they'll go to tribal council on behalf of the other tribe and they'll vote off ANYONE IN THE GAME THAT THEY CHOOSE.

At some point the tribes will be merged into one tribe. The game will only have one merge at a time already designated. Only the hosts will know about this day until the time it actually happens. There may be additional twists and turns throughout the game, so do not get too cozy.

Hype! Survivor is a game of both strategy and deception. Alliances are both permitted, and encouraged. So find a friend, and sex their brains out. Masterminding and forethought are the keys to success. Laziness and ineffective play will both be penalized and exposed. Hosts have the right to intervene at any point in the game for the sake of keeping dead weight out. As a side note: alliances can be with any of the 20 players... doesn't matter who they are... doesn't matter what tribes they're on... just make sure it's someone you trust... or not. As the old saying goes: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

The final Jury will be composed of 7 people: everyone voted off from the remaining seven players who didn't make the finals. The hosts will not be voting in the finals this time around. The Jury and only the Jury will vote FOR WHO THEY THINK SHOULD WIN of the final two remaining players to find the winner of the Hype! Survivor.

A note on cheating: It's very easy to cheat in this game. Very, very easy. Some of the rounds will be much more difficult to cheat at than others (some will be downright impossible to cheat on). Regardless, hosts have ways of catching you, and sometimes will even set up traps for you. If you feel you have to cheat, by all means, go ahead... but if you're caught, you WILL be penalized. Again, specific rules of what's legal or not will be in each challenge PM.

This game will not support dead weight. The last game I attempted to host ended prematurely as I recruited entirely new players, all of whom lost interest about half way through the game. If the host feels at any time that you are dead weight he reserves the right to boot you and replace you. Also, if your tribe feels that you are dead weight, they may petition me for your removal from the game and replacement with someone else at which point your case will be heard and it will be decided.
New to this game is Exile Island. The losing tribe has a player removed from their tribe from tribal council. The winning tribe picks who goes. This person is safe from tribal council but also forfeits his or her vote.
These rules are subject to change at any time with absolutely no warning. They are more of guidelines for the game. Specific rules for each challenge will be issued via Challenge PM. Any dispute with the host will be settled through the Ghost Host (aka: The King). He is a neutral party who will look at the dispute and decide who is in the wrong (it will probably be you, though). Just have fun and play your hardest and everything will be fine

Hippie Hunter: War Journal, Day 7

The Hooters Pimps destroyed a potential alliance for me by voting out Abbadon. When he got voted out, on near unaniminity (he obivously didn't vote for himself), my instant thought was "Damn! There goes a person who could have been useful for me and my tribe."

I am suffering from severe withdrawal now. I've been on this Island for seven days. Because I was kidnapped and forced to play this game against my will, I wasn't able to get my one personal item to enjoy. I wasn't able to take my Playstation 2, Playstation Portable, Nintendo DS, or Gamecube. I am suffering from severe withdrawal from lack of Metal Gear and the Legend of Zelda. I NEED IT!!!

This day has just gotten worse and worse for me. Matt is "benevolent" enough to us to provide us daily news on the national, international, sports, finance, video games, comics, movies, whatever. I read the most horrible news for me. They canceled Firestorm :(. I KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP DAN DIDIO :cmad:

ETM tried to perform an exercism on the Island to try and get rid of TEDDY but with no success. In desperation, he sicked his pet monkey on him and two hours later returned with a stuff monkey animal. It turns out that TEDDY is a warlock (abiet a very weak one), and explains why he was able to continue annoying us beyond the grave.

Today, we received another challenge. This time Matt gave our tribe a packet of cut-up pictures and we had to guess what movie those pictures are of. Thankfully, I was able to get most of them and they weren't freaking retarded obscure movies that no one has seen :up:. But then we lost the challenge 7 to 9 in favor of the Hooters Pimps :down:

Entry #1

I was sent to have 'special time' with the ghost of TEDDY or TEDDY. I felt bad for letting the team down and all, and for punishment they wanted me to do something to TEDDY. I don't know what I was suppose to do, because as I was walking through the dark woods, something hit me in the back of my head, thus knocking me out cold. I woke up in the morning with a unpleasant pain coming from my arse. :csad:

Hippie Hunter War Journal, Day 4

I started my day off by going on my usual hippy hunting routine. Today, I caught myself a College Know It All Hippy also known as the Wannabe Hippy.

Talking with other members of the Hooters Pimps, I learned that they decided to punish the annoyingly ETM by sending him to TEDDY's ghost in order to calm him for some special time (also known as rape time in Switzerland).

We got another challenge today. This time, we are having our tribe members select two people from their tribes to run for President of the Superhero Hype Boards. Our tribe chose our captain Kipobe and Darren Darring for President and Vice President. The Hooters Pimps chose Erzengel and Immortalfire. In anger, Sofa and Darthphere are running as a third party. We were finally allowed to temporarily leave the Island to campaign for our candidates. Asteroid-Man has developed several advertisements for our candidates, but I don't think they're helping too much, as a matter in fact, they were kinda hurting us. I think Edd's were far more effective.

Early in the campaign, we learned that a scandals had already erupted. There are leaked photos showing Erzengel having a secret gay affair with the King! And photos of Kipobe throwing rocks at our troops in Iraq. How would this affect the vote? I didn't know. I was surprised to find out that we managed to win the election by such a large margin. While Erzengel had the votes of people like Matt, we actually had Jamal Igle (artist of Firestorm: The Nuclear Man and soon-to-be Nightwing fame) vote for us! JewishHobbit decided to send Erzengel back to Exile Island. Personally, I would have sent ETM to Exile Island. He's bound to get voted off and I think he could have been useful for our tribe.

But overall the roster just plain sucks. It's only been little over a year since they revealed Ronin and now we're getting the mystery yet AGAIN! (also in Ultimate Spider-Man). Iron Fist and Luke Cage should be in Heroes for Hire and Luke should get his own solo series. There is no need for TWO Spider-people. Dr. Strange shouldn't be on a team where he is not the leader. Wolverine is an X-Men, not Avengers material. Also an Avengers roster that lacks Captain America, Iron Man, or Thor sucks right off the bat!

If we were split between voting for say....you (or Asteroid-Man or Kipobe, or myself) and JewHob and it ended up as a tie, JewHob would be voted out on account of two votes that were made against him. They don't pop out anytime.

1) No its not. I've made it very clear in every Exile PM I sent that you are not to post in the thread while in Exile. Kipobe obeyed, Erzengel obeyed. Jewhob did not.
2) The votes can't just pop up at any random time. Ties are broken through previous votes as has been the case in every previous Hype Survivor. If there is a tie, Jewhob has 2 votes against him (3, actually because I think he got one in another tribal council). So if he and you were tied and you had 2 previous votes and Jewhob had 3, he is removed from the game.
