Anyone seen this? Although a combination of Lester and Donner, it conatins sequences not used in either of the other versions.
This is a fan made cut that came out way before Donner's cut. Actually there is a msg to Donner on the DVD saying the fans wanted his version of S2.

oh yes... it had the lost kiss on it, the Concorde flyby, and some Donner scenes in it. I loved it as a kid, and to be perfectly honest, I prefer it over the other versions...
if anyone can find a DL of this movie, I'd be very appreciative...

The only place you'll ever find it is eBay.

Heh heh heh.....as I wrote that, guess what arrived in my mail?
I agree with kakarot, this may well be the best version....the villains certainly come off as more threatening. Non killing the boy and Zod gunning down men in the White House really should be in every version.

It won't always be there as there are very few copies. But keep looking. It's just chance that it's not on the US version but I found it straight away on eBay.co.uk.

lol, no, i was doing my research on the web earlier today, and I found a guy who had the DVD of it, and I asked him if he still had it. He said he did, and I asked him if he could hook me up with it. He said yes, and I told him that if he wanted anything from me, just feel free ot ask, and I'll see what I can do.

the restored international cut was quite popular back in 2003, i download it from myspleen.net and i still enjoy it, it was a great fan effort, very well done, and besides, includes many great extras like the on screen guide that tell you what scenes are lester's and donner's, the soundtrack and the making of

Never heard of this. Qustions to those who have it: Do we see any of the stupid powers in it (like the "S" net)? Does it end with the kiss? Do we see all of Jor-El's fortress scenes?
Answers would be much appreciated.

1. yes you still do
2. yes it does
3. no you don't
all in all this is still the Lester cut with Donner scenes, and I believe one STM scene of Superman out flying the Concorde, a scene I want to see so damn bad...

It's a cool scene, it's added when Supes is flying to Paris.
What I love is when the RIC shows versions of scenes neither Donner or Lester used. So you have three different versions. For instance, in the Planet at the end, Zod tells Non to kill Luthor ("Kill the rest, starting with him.")
In the Lester version, Luthor reminds him they, 'had a few laughs' at the White House.
In the Donner version, Luthor adds that, "You ought to get that fixed," when Non growls at him.
In the RIC cut, Luthor says that asking for Australia was too much.
I love it!
