I would, I've said that before, but the only thing that has bothered me are the odds of painting yourself white andyou so happen to get bleached white
Maybe he is painted white when he falls in...and it burns the paint into his skin:)

For all of you saying that The Joker is going to be painted-on THEN bleached white: you're crazy. The odds are slim to none of that happening. It's wishful (and naive) thinking. Either the Joker will be bleached or not.

yeh dunno how far we are allowed to deviate from the thread topic here but the story continued in "Dark Empire" where the blue flash you see fly out of the death star shaft is actually the emporers wraith, which then enters a young cloned body of himself and he returns and makes Luke his apprentice (who is faking his fall to the dark side) but the clone body starts to degenerate so he tries to take the body of Leias unborn child hehe weird

he keeps walking when he sees someone in the darkness
The man in the darkness giggles
Flass: What's your deal crackhead
He continues to giggle
Flass: come into the light where i can see you
He steps into of to reveal the joker
Flass drops his food
Flass: What the $^&W
Flass runs
The joker pulls out a knife and throws it
It nails flass in the left leg
The joker walks over to flass who is moaning from the pain
he pulls out a joker card with a razor sharp blade around the card
and slits flass's throat
he drags flass back into the shadows
the screen is black we hear the jokers laugh while the relflective light on the knife going in all directions ( Much like in From Hell)

The End Of flass
-------------------------------------------------------------
Flass walks into a alleyway, he is eating
he keeps walking when he sees someone in the darkness
The man in the darkness giggles
Flass: What's your deal crackhead
He continues to giggle
Flass: come into the light where i can see you
He steps into of to reveal the joker
Flass drops his food
Flass: What the $^&W
Flass runs
The joker pulls out a knife and throws it
It nails flass in the left leg
The joker walks over to flass who is moaning from the pain
he pulls out a joker card with a razor sharp blade around the card
and slits flass's throat
he drags flass back into the shadows
the screen is black we hear the jokers laugh while the relflective light on the knife going in all directions ( Much like in From Hell)
then the next morning gcpd find Flass in a pool of blood with Several "Ha's cut into him and a joker card
__________________________________________________ _________
Or somthing like that
maybe a little extreme (or cheesy)

*Add* I remember a new part of my dream!! It was before the Pizza guy came. I was sitting in front of him and he did something, i forgot what, that made him LAUGH. It was more a more quiet laugh, but i can remember it clearly now...not too hard to describe, really: He basically laughed under his breath and it reminded me of that growling from The Grudge. It was kinda like a really slow laugh, too, "Haaaah, haaah, haaah, haaaaah..." I can also see him looking at me and putting his head down a little and when he smiled his scars grew longer. And the room had low light and a blue'ish tone to it.THEN the pizza guy showed up(He didnt even knock. he just showed up at the front door cause it was open).

WTF? Could you expand on this?
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 07:53 PM
sure. take it with a grain of salt though. it's not like anything close to a fact, but it makes enough sense.
basically, by the early 90s OJ had pretty much fallen off the map, even his crappy acting career was washed up. and he runs with a bad crowd. coke dealers. and there is evidence to support that the government brings drugs in to the country in order to fund black ops. so OJ was helping push some coke for his friends. and for some reason or another, maybe the government was involved, or maybe they were mad about people moving in on their business, they approached OJ.
see, in the early 90s there was f-cked up stuff going on. but they shadow government has an agenda. and part of their grand plan was to push the 24 hour news agenda. and at the time, create more racial tension. the rodney king beating and all that. so why not have a murder trial. i mean, OJ may or may not have murdered her. but in this scenario, he was involved either way. but he was assured he would get off. everyone involved in this thing was a character. it seems like a bad movie. cochran, ito, kato, everyone. so the glove defense was a joke, the high speed chase was a joke. everything. there was supposed to be mounting evidence against OJ that made it obvious that he was guilty. yet, make it also appear obvious that the cops may have been racist. not only does this create a further racial divide, it also keeps people watching the news 24 hours day. this was one of the very first big news stories. and this gave birth to the 24 hour news networks.
and according to this theory, that was the plan.
but again, you don't have to believe this. but if you believe things like this, it makes a lot of sense. but i'm not saying it's true. but it could be possible. it DID all seem like a poorly written movie.
itsthebatman

nope. plus, it's easy to come up with reasons for things after the fact. like i said, i'm not saying i believe that. but it's still an interesting idea. that's how i feel about a lot of conspiracies, i don't necessarily think they are true, but it's crazy that they really COULD be. the government COULD get away with anything. but that doesn't always mean that they do.

Bale: Nothing special compared to Keaton's subtle performance. "It's not who I am underneath, but what I doooooooooo"

He's a poser and come July 18th everyone will like Nicholson's performance more. I can't wait." is a bit extreme, seeing as how hardely anyone as even seen final footage of the film.
Be as opinionated as you want, and embrass Burton's films to your hearts continent. But remember, this is a Batman board about Nolan's films. If you can't handle it, and all you're gonna do is trash it before you've even seen it, then please do leave.
There's gonna be things people don't like about Nolan's films, and that is to be expected. You can't please everyone. But, even though I like Burton's films just fine, I can pick apart every aspect of Nicholson's Joker and tell you what Burton did wrong. But I won't. Why? Because I'm open-minded about it, just like Nolan's films.

best voice actor Joker. I don't know if he could perform it, the fact he is short doesn't help

Ya, Joker is typically shown taller then Batman I believe.
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 09:52 PM
he seems tall. i mean he's lanky. he MIGHT be shorter than batman though. i don't know.

09-22-2007, 09:53 PM
Are u sure?, hmmm maybe I'm just not thinking hard enough on it, but in B:TAS he was definetly shorter, in most of the comics THe Man WHo Laughs,(shorter) and even in some comics now, he's shorter....well in Batman: Hush he wasn't but the only good thing about that was the Batman/Joker fight and the revelation of the Riddler at the end, so I don't really count that
CaptainClown
09-22-2007, 09:53 PM
it is possible but hamil is like 5'6? He isn't very tall and not exactly very lanky
fcrowelle06
09-22-2007, 09:54 PM
Yeah the Joker's lanky, which makes him skinny and tall, but I don't think he's ever been taller than Batman in a vast majority
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 09:55 PM
he doesn't have the look. his voice and affliction are great. but it probably wouldn't have worked in a movie.

09-22-2007, 09:55 PM
yeah, but as actors, most of them can commit to dropping or gaining weight for roles, I don't see him as an exception, he'd jump up for joy to do it
CaptainClown
09-22-2007, 09:55 PM
There really is no side comparison so ya he might not be taller then Batman but being much shorter then him is just awkward visually.
Luchastyle

get a 5 8 batman
Mister J
09-22-2007, 09:57 PM
Technically, Joker's 6'5, as opposed to Batman being 6'2, but you hardly ever see them fully standing straight up in comparison to one another. Added to that, artists/different media vary in their depictions. If you wanted to stretch it, you could say that Bruce is a bit taller in the suit.
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 09:59 PM
he would be 6 5 with the ears =D but seriously, joker is 6 5? that's pretty huge.
Mister J
09-22-2007, 10:01 PM
6'5 192 lbs. He's just tall and lanky.
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 10:04 PM
yeah. you got that in some kind of batman book where it has a profile of all the villains?
Mister J
09-22-2007, 10:08 PM
DC Encyclopedia. :hyper:
Though, I've also seen it referenced in places like Secret Files (in the back of the Justice issues) and those mini-bios that were in 52.
Luchastyle

Mr. Socko

Yeah, it's listed in the DC encyclopedia but honestly just differs between artists. You could say that it's just the default height and weight for The Joker.
Anyway, a 6'5 Joker could work on film. I honestly didn't even notice Liam was 6'5 in Begins. He just seemed a bit taller but I'd say thats because the cast was generally on the taller side than shorter.
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 10:10 PM
yeah. begins had a tall cast. how tall is heath? i don't feel like looking on imdb
Mr. Socko
09-22-2007, 10:12 PM
Heath is listed as 6'1.
If Joker has any scenes with Bruce Wayne, I suspect Joker will appear taller but because of the ears, Batman will seem taller when they face off.
Luchastyle
09-22-2007, 10:13 PM
yeah. i could see that. and he should have a scene with wayne when he crashes the penthouse party.
CaptainClown
09-22-2007, 10:13 PM
I don't think they would ever be that close standing tall to each other, so there really would be no room to compare. Unless they have Joker in a police line up or getting his mug shot taken
