Yes that's just another Star Wars game and footage of a guy and his Wiimote. E3 is probably when they'll announce a Star Wars game if there is one.

star wars would be silly to not get a game out on the wii, the wii-mote is practically built for it...
heck, i bet they even get wii-remote holsters and have them shaped like lightsabres, surely every human on the planet would want that...

Don't we basically have unofficial confirmation already?
I could have sworn I read on a gaming news site that someone asked the LucasArts guy if they had any other plans and he replied "Well... that Wii controller is perfect for a lightsaber, isn't it?" and said nothing further...

I remember the article you are talking about. LucasArts was testing the Wii tech for something and basically unoficially confirmed a Star Wars Wii game in the works.

Well the majority of systems in the past 20 years have had a Star Wars game. Lucas does have the live action Star Wars TV series in the future so we can expect video games related to that as well.

Honestly, the Wii was made for games like this. Now if you get a double edge saber, I assume you hold the wii-mote two fisted and twirl that bastard around.

I'd love to see a game like that on the wii! If they don't announce one for it in the next few months then someone'll have to head to nintendo's HQ and smack someone to get them to call Lucas to get to work on it...

Aside from Wiimote, you can also use nunchuk for executing Force powers as well. If Wii has comparable graphics with 360 and PS3, I don't see any reason to get the other two version since it'd be perfect.

The Wii version doesn't have comparable graphics at all, nor does it have the Euphoria and DMM engines the 360 and PS3 have.

That's why I said "if". Wii's graphics are obviously inferior to 360 and PS3, but it makes up by its innovative controls. I just say that IF Wii sport similar graphics with its next-gen competitors, Wii's version would've been perfect.
I'm thinking about getting Lego Star Wars for Wii. Is it worth getting?
