Meh , i need to a be a specific mood if i'm to listen to tiesto , carl cox & paul van dyke.

Awesome list, I don't recognize a lot of those names, but I will seek them out. Tiesto's a bit overrated, I guess it's worse where you live, but he's just always there you know? I really need to get some Beatfreakz, their videos are just so disturbing. I forgot Dirty Vegas, I really enjoy their self titled record and A Night at the Tables.
Do you ever listed to the hidden jukebox on the Matrix Revisited DVD? A friend of mine burned it on to CD's for me using a program called Audio Hijack.
Whenever I think of Eric Prydz, I always think of this video.

However i do like his albums with collected works from other artists though.

Anyway, I'm a HUGE house, electroclash and trance(mostly) fan. It's mostly all that's on my playlist and what I usually listen to in the car. I have a sickness because I've heard of and listened to like 98% of the people on those lists.. :csad:

it's a matter of preference to me really but i never have been been a fan of the house music from the states. For some reason i just can't really enjoy it .
It's fine if you're in a club or something and you hear it for like once or so but to me it doesn't have any replayable value.
Miss Kitten is okay tough. And for the record. I did like Felix Da Housecats remix of Sinnerman in Miami Vice :woot:

It's not like i completely stopped listening to him . I do watch his videos when they're played on the dutch tv ( and they do appear frequently) but i think since 2000/2001 i stopped collecting his songs on cd's or whatever.
I'm just more of a mellow type of guy now. The teenage period of mine was filled with energy so that's why i did like Scooter alot back then .
The whole HARDCORE Movement of the 90's was something that i witnessed.
Now it's more Trance , all forms of House and dance. Techno too but it really depends on the mood i'm into .

Scooter would be much cooler if there wasn't yelling over all of the music. There's a rap guy that does that too, forgot who it is.
I'm listening to mostly:
September
Driftwood
Vinylshakerz(who knows why)
Tomcraft
Lasgo
Tiga
Cascada(again, dunno why)
Groove Coverage(same as above)
DJ Pulsedriver
Way Out West
Basshunter
Ferry Corsten (not ashamed at ALL)
Sylver
Uniting Nations(although it's corny stuff)
Tons more but that and lots of the others already mentioned are mostly what's on my playlist. I hate that when you get some good compilation cds, there are artists that only have like 1 song.
I'll be honest, most of the stuff I like by Felix Da Housecat has Miss Kitten in it. I think it's a great combo.

Driftwood ( like 'em. It's been a while since i listened to driftwood but they had a big hit. I forgot which one it was...)
Vinylshakerz(who knows why) ( i love them)
Cascada(again, dunno why) ( their music is very much like SCOOTER , only more geared towards teens. Mebbe that's why you love 'em, The scooter effect  )
DJ Pulsedriver ( have heard of him. Seems okayish to me. )
Basshunter ( oh dear lord no. :csad: . If you're going to say that you also like OZON , i'll probably lose all faith in humanity.

Ferry Corsten (not ashamed at ALL) ( Ferry is okay. Nothin to be ashamed for there. )

Ok, come on, Botten Anna is hilarious, especially the video. If that song were in English, no one would listen to it. "I'm Your Basscreator" is quite good and there isn't all that weird singing. :oldrazz: I've been know to like a few songs from O-Zone, I've heard worse believe it or not, not a huge fan though. You know what the thing is with BassHunter. In 2006 there were two songs in the top 10 of most played songs in the netherlands. One of them was Boten Anna and a dutch song. These songs were played soo much that you hated them and still would wind 'em singing them at parties.
Same with O-ZONE. Everybody hated them DRAGOSTINA DIN TEI ( or something like that) but it was often played at parties.
You see alot of people with a pissed look on their face singing that song . I was often part of that group :oldrazz:

Luckily i moved to the netherlands then and everything did finally fall into place.

Unless you have like really big albums , just put all you're songs on GMAIL.
Works for me everytime . I mean as long as i have a computer with sound and some space on the HD and Internet , i can basically download all my tracks
As for Sensation. Yep .
It's for 2 days , with the first day you have Sensation White. It's mostly House & Trance.
Sensation BLACK is something you'd like cause it's just TECHNO , HARD TRANCE , HARD HOUSE , HARDCORE stuff.
Dress code for Sensation White is white and for SENSATION BLACK you really need to wear black.
I've been living in the netherlands ever since 2001 and i still haven't been to Sensation :csad:

Constant refilling of water bottles and baby pacifiers are a dead give away for somebody rollin on E.

The cars are sold out within 2 hours ( NO JOKE) . And what pisses me off more is that the stadium where it's held is like 10 minutes driving from my house :cmad:
That sounds so awesome though, I'd love to go sometime.

A sight i've seen one too many times sadly.
But yeah , it does depend on the drug though. I did use STACKERS once . I think it had Ephedra and while i was in a constant state of activity my blood pressure did rise to dangerous heights .
I remember walking home with a massive headache due to the blood pressure being so high.
Now it just going to a party and having a good time. Down a few beers or other alcohol and you're set :woot:
Anyways going back to the music.
Dennis Christopher is growing alot on me lately. Same goes for Super 8

I have a lot of those but I'm finding that sometimes I really don't like them because there are individual songs that really stand out. At a party/rave or something, non-stop mixes are great.

You really have the best dj's playing there. It's also ( i think) Europe's BIGGEST indoor dance event.
The company behind Sensation ( ID&T) has planned to have the Sensation Dance Event in other (european) countries like Germany too.
Dunno if they have already have started though

I was pretty much exclusively a trance fan(a little techno) until I heard some bass at a rave.....blew me away. I could feel the bass for a while after the party was done

True. That's one of the reason why i do have a problem with the MOS series since it's all mixed into one and you can get away with splitting the stuff up but that just gives you an incomplete song. I'm usually more a fan of seperate songs as opposed to one long mix track when buying something.

What i usually do is just select some artists that i know and then go on from there. The songs posted on the net or even if you go to record stores have all the artists . And just go on from there really. You see a new artists , you writer the name and do another search. See if you like the songs. Download /wbuy a whole album , then see if you like the other new artists and continue.

I just learned my lesson really. Of course it's all up to the person but i think that most people who go to raves etc. have experienced these party drugs. However i also think the majority just kept it to that one time and there is a small group that continues to use them occasionally or often.
I can get enough enjoyment from the whole experience there.

You know i had just linked this vid cause i wanted to show some freemasons clips. I had listened to the song a month or so two ago and it's in my many gmail adresses and forgotten about it. I didn't realise that they used the same beat from Walken's "Boy Meets Girl " until today when i viewed the video :wow:
It was also cause i've just been had "Boy Meets Girl" for a very short time.
Anyways another good mix IMO from the freemasons :woot:

Have you guys heard the Freemason's album "Shakedown".
It's got all the tracks of their mixes so far with of course new material
One of them being the remix of Kaskade's "I Feel Like ". It's driving me nuts cause it's a mix album and i so want to have that song in it's entirety :csad:
Now if you haven't heard the original "I Feel Like " i'd strongly advise you to get together with you're wife/girfriend/boyfriend/whatever cause it's a damn great song to dance to. And do other stuff.....:cwink:

Definition by Urban Dictionary:
"Rave" or form of wild dancing party where all of the members listen to music through headphones on seperate portable music players. The players are all synchronized so everyone is hearing the same thing, but no outsiders hear anything, hence the "silent" portion of the name.
The police didn't bust the silent rave down the street because nobody complained about the noise.

I'm really f***ing bummed that I am not in Detroit this weekend for D.E.M.F. (Detroit Electronic Music Festival) or "Movement" as it has been called in recent years. This is the first year I have missed in several years.
My tastes are along the more abstract... I prefer minimal techno. I worship at the altar of Richie Hawtin's brrod over at Minus. I have been a fan of Plastikman since 1994. I love the Studio One series by Mike Ink... some of the best minimal EVER pressed to vinyl.
I also like some of the cooler IDM stuff... Arovane is incredibly cool.
My list:
Ambivalent (aka Kevin McHugh)
Andars Ilar
Anja Schneider
Claude Von Stroke
Dapayk Solo

I like a good amount of electronic/ambient music.
I got into it from Moby's music.
If you haven't tried yet, Pandora is an AMAZING free music website.
After creating an account, type in an artist in the search box and they'll start playing music from that artist and other artists with the same musical style.
So on my Moby channel, I've gotten to know a lot of other music. For each song you get to vote whether you like it or not (if you haven't voted for the song yet) and if you don't like a song it moves on to the next song.
There's a little advertising on the side of the player but it's quite amazing and the talk of a lot of social media websites.
Another great radio website is radioio that has an electronic music channel. Also highly recommended but there's a dj that picks the artists, not you.
