Tomorrow is the first Sunday I have off in at least a month and a half. I'll be able to actually watch FOOTBALL all-day!:up:
Ram's better win tomorrow, they cost me last week. :cmad:
The spread is which color tie Nolan wears.

TITANS OR COLTS????
Titans
The Titans hit the Colts in the mouth first which gets the crowd into it.Vince Young is going to have a strong impressive game, the Titans running is going to wear down the Colts defense take lots of time off the clock will end by scoring touchdowns and limit Mannings chances to score with being kept on the sidelines. The Titans defense shuts down Manning gets pressure makes him make mistakes and gets it going to little to late if he does.
If all that happens then the Titans should easily win by 9 or more points. The Titans are going to be handing the Colts their first loss of the season this Sunday.

If all that happens, then you need go play the lotto.
Let me put it this way, my Chiefs have a better chance winning against the Bears. And, that's slim to none.
I think, aside from the Cowboys game, what I'm most looking forward to is Ocho Cinco trying to jump into the Dawg Pound.

I think Scrambling QB's have their place but like you said, they can't be one dimensional. Take Steve McNair, John Elway, or Steve Young; they had balance. They had the arm and accuracy, could read D's, and had the legs to give themselves time or run if need be.
Vick and Young have one of those things at a elite level and that's their legs. Vick busted on to the scene and looked like a world beater (so did Young to a lesser extent), until defenses figured out the way to beat Vick is to make him pass. That should never be a viable way to stop a QB. Same thing will happen to Young.
The thing is that iof Vick ever had anyone to pass to he woulda been virtually unstoppable.

He had a couple good receivers in his time with the NFL, and he still didn't succeed.
He certainly had better receivers than Donovan McNabb has had for most of his career, and yet McNabb's still performed better.

The only GREAT year Vick had was in 2004, when they made the NFC title game, ran over the Rams in the playoffs as well. That team looked very solid.

Um...did you ever actually see Vick play? His three bread-n-butter passes were: 1) The Overthrow 2) The WR Finger-Breaking short bullet 3) The One Hopper. Vick could have had Jerry Rice, Chris Carter and Don Hutson in their primes and he still would have had meager passing stats.

I'd go with the Bengals D. Ravens D are having all sorts of problems and Ray Lewis is not 100%. They also made 6 turnovers against the Ravens on Monday night and shutout the Browns at Cleveland last year.

Look at the Steelers from 2004. Went 15-1, tore it up in the regular season. Lost in the AFC title game to the Patriots. Wasted almost all their energy on the regular season. The Pats shouldn't want to do that.
I don't think they will need to work that hard to win the game though.

Alright, just to recap what I missed, with special thanks going out to Hawk Harrelson.
Kevin Everett: He'll grab some bench.
Steve McNair- He gone? Ray Lewis- He gone? = Baltimore Ravens- They ****ed
NY Giants- They done...maybe (its the NFC after all)
Patriots/Spygate- Won't matter as much as people make it out to be weeks from now, they will keep winning. Video taping opposing coaches doesn't result with a TD pass that was thrown into triple coverage to a supposedly washed up star.
Nike "Leave Nothing" Commericial: Would have been a million times better with Tedy Brusci instead of Merriman. Try getting a player that actually symbolizes the message being given. But I guess Brusci was "so two years ago".

If the Patriots fail to provide the NFL with all video, files, and notes revolving the video tapping from the start of Belichick's time in New England then Goodell will readdress penalties.

SMH @ OJ Simpson
LAS VEGAS -- O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday on charges related to an armed robbery involving sport memorabilia, police said.
Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. and is being brought to a police office, Capt. James Dillon said. Police are still determining charges against Simpson.
Several police officers were seen entering the hotel where Simpson is staying; a security guard said police took Simpson out a side door shortly after.
At least one other person has been arrested and police said earlier Sunday that as many as six people could be arrested in connection with the alleged armed robbery that occurred in a room inside the Palace Station casino-hotel on Thursday.
Simpson, 60, has said he and other people with him were retrieving items that belonged to him. He told police no guns were involved.
Police said two firearms and other evidence were seized at a private residence early Sunday.
Walter Alexander, 46, of Arizona, was arrested Saturday night on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.

The Titans defense certainly did perform well. To bad Vince Young and the offense barely showed up.

The lack of executions for tds really cost them. But the biggest dissapointment was Jones not able to make a catch that was on the money third down on the very last drive.
I am sure the press will be all over Young, and the top one is it's the start of the Madden Curse.

You do realize like every guy to ever be an NFL coach has at least considered what Belichick did right? It's nothing new, it's certainly nothing horrible, and it's really little more than a handhold for sore losers to feel a little bit better about their team getting trounced by the Patriots at one time or another.
