Really, Celldog. If you're going to go that far, I'd question if Tony Dungy quit coaching his son would still be alive. See how easy it is to link someone to another's short comings and how ridiculous you sound?

I'm obviously not being serious but just trying to show what an ass Celldog sounds like. Tony Dungy's son's suicide was not Dungy's fault. It was a tragedy and no one but his son's fault. Just as Andy Reid's son's drug abuse is no one but his son's fault. To point fingers like that overy any kind of tragedy is ridiculous on so many levels.

While I agree with you Matt; Reid does bear some responsibility in this, as did Dungy (on a very-very small level). As parents you are the most important role model for your kids, if you are not around, you are going to have to own up to the effects of your vacancy. Whether your vacancy was/is justified or not.

What? I dont see how they are anything alike. Dungys kid was known as a personable, religous nice guy. Reids kid"S" are appearentlys drug dealing, gun waving delequents.

Theres a huge difference; Dungy cannot be blamed for not picking up on his sons depression, especially when he didnt live with his son. Reid can be blamed for not noticing his childrens drug dealing and gun waving ways in HIS OWN HOUSE. Problem is, he probably DID know about it, and theres he big problem is that he didnt do ****. So because Dungy did not live with his son, that excuses his apparent blindness to his son's depression? Even if they did not live together, did they have no relationship?

Of they did. But it's still up to the kid to tell his parents that something is wrong. According to reports he was doing fine on the outside. Dungy isn't telepathic. James Dungy was going to school in Tampa. Tony Dungy is living in Indy.

Reid however is living in the same house. If he was at home more than he was at the Eagle's complex, he might have saw this. They live under the same roof.

Excel

Yes it does. His own friends and girlfriend that James Dungy hung out with didn't see it; how the hell would his father, who runs an NFL football team and lives 1000 miles away know about it?

Its not blindness; he tried to cover it up. Matt, for someone I know is into politcs; your talking extremely close minded.

Dungys son was depressed and lived 1000 miles away; Reids sonS are drug dealers who lived in his house with him. Theres no relation. At all.

Because I am sure his children just walked around flaunting they were drug dealers. There are tell tale signs of depression. Maybe if Dungy gave his son a little more attention, he'd be alive.

You don't even see your hypocrisy. You're an idiot.

First of all, drugs and weapons are much easier to find; they are OBJECTS and Reid lived with them; how could he not know? He is their father.

On the otherhand, it is total unreasonable to expect a man who lives 1000 miles away and runs an NFL football team to know his adult son is depressed. If the kid was 15 and lived under the same roof, youd be right; but he didnt so your not.

It is VERY reasonable to expect a man who runs an NFL football team and lives with his kids to realize they are selling drugs and carrying around weapons.

Maybe instead of game film he should watch more tv and he may have seen one of those commercials talking about parents need to ask their kids where they are going and what they are doing because his boys more than likely got into this **** during their teenage years:o

The Rams are 0-8.

There is no Football God. :csad:

Not true, the football god causes regional areas to have success or failure. This would explain why Michigan and MSU are not on the top of their game this year, and also why Boston is enjoying so much awesomness with Boston College and the Pats dominating.

My Broncos are being destoryed this season, it angers me. The games we have won are by very close calls, we haven't smashed a team, and our injuries are way up high. To be honest, I don't think the Broncos will be a Super Bowl contender for another 3-4 years. We have a new defense that I do not like, we have a new quaterback, and we have some running back issues. I think Cutler is a solid quaterback, we just need to build the team around him.

NFC EAST Battle:cmad: grrrr. The Dope Bois dad vs. Cowgirls. I gotta give it to the Cowboys, they've looked like pseudo contendors for most of the season.

And the Broken Glass bowl Pittsburg vs. Baltimore-the spread favors Steelers by 91/2 :wow: , Baltimore has not much of an offense, but I think they still have some spark in the D. Steelers win, but not by the spread.

Addai? How bout LJ, RONNIE BROWN, Westbrook, McGehee...

Ronnie Brown was the best in the league till he got hurt.

If Ronnie Brown wasn't hurt, then he would be a top back easily. Addai almost has over 100 rush YPG. To me that is great considering Peyton Manning is 5th in passing yds. Addai also has the league leading 7TD this season.

In retalliation, the Pats injure Manning intentionally.

the Colts are just chipping away with that persistent style of play.......they are patient through and through....

no not that play..that was a penalty

i meant a few calls earlier...the 2nd p.i that clearly wasnt..then the 3rd and 6 play where brady through a quick pass and thr receiver was held..stuff like that

The Pass Int call was good. The holding penalty was questionable either way - no blatant miss/poor calls.
