I need Cleveland to lose one more. :) Titans have tiebreaker against them. Titans really need to win out the next 4 games though possibly 3-1 could get them in with some help.
Titans...
Good luck getting your spot back as the AFC South Champs! main punching bag.

Well without random pictures of Peyton's huge head next to the comparatively minuscule Lombardi trophy, he really doesn't have much else.
This is how the Ravens should've been playing all season. The AFC North could've been the most exciting division in the NFL if the Ravens played as they are capable all season between them, the Browns, and the Steelers.

And I think we all know who the refs were rooting for. :o
All over the country, bandwagon fans are cheering, and real football fans are cursing. :o
I'm not cursing. If they lost that game they go into Pittsburgh more pissed off than ever and win by 50 points.
If Bills/Cowboys is a close second, how is this the game of the year by far?
Ooooooh. Nice.
And I think we all know who the refs were rooting for. :o

Looks like Hawaii's refs were here tonight :o

Oh come on Fran, the Patriots had a 100 yards worth of penalties. Its not the refs fault that Rex Ryan took that time out. If anything on that last play offensive pass interference should have been called.

Better lucky than good eh New England?

Doing a celldog impression? :cwink:
Does anyone else think the false start on the 4th and 1 was intentional? It gave Brady more room to work with and kept the Ravens from rushing (which has been killing Brady all night).
Jerry!
12-03-2007, 10:59 PM
I don't know if it was intentional, but I also thought it was probably easier to convert because of it.

But that holding call at the end was crap. (at least from the replay I saw)

Hell to the no.
No coach would take 4th and 6 over 4th and 1.

Normally I'd agree. But in that situation I'd rather have Brady in the shot gun with some room to throw than be forced into a goal line formation play with 5 or 6 guys coming on the rush.
Jerry!
12-03-2007, 11:11 PM
Yeah, I don't they would do it intentionally, but in that situation against the Ravens D, I would take a chance with 4th and 5 more than 4th and 1. I think they actually only rushed 3 guys once it became 4th and 5.

Nopety popety, M. It's 1 yard. Just put Heath Evans' big ass behind a fullback and guard and push a couple feet forward. Or sneak it in. Having Brady in the gun offers the risk of pressure, a sack, or a likely incompletion. Of course, they did get the first down anyway. So it's a moot point.
On a side note, I just saw that holding call on #28. Yeah.....that guy wins the Idiot of the Day award. Dude was hugging him 10 yards deep.

Yeah, I agree. Brady's true talent is in his arm. This gave him more room to use it.

WTF is up McDANIELS ASS!
Put. In. ****ing. MARONEY!
You dont have to hand it to him; just put him inthe ****ing game!
Maybe then Ed Reed wont ****ig line up 50 yards down field!
OHHHH WHAT I TELL YOU GET HIS ASS IN THE GAME KEEP IT IN THE GAME!!!
He in backfield=moss wide open in endzone!
screen pass to maroney=34 and 45 yards!!
Pats should draft Mcfadden, I'm not too sure about Maroney
Psh; Maroney is great; he aint had too many oppritunities to show off this year; but he has when he gets a chance to; like tonight

I'd be more worried with pressure on Brady from under center than from shot gun. At least he would see it coming a little while longer, he can get blindsided if he drops back from under center.

Man, I'm recovering from my 4th stroke. I both love and hate the Pats for pulling this undefeated mess. I can't take it...even the teams that they are superior to are giving them hell. Like they said on the telecast, every game a team has against the Pats is their Super Bowl. I'm worried about the Miami game.
And for the record, I strongly disagree that people are jumping on the Pat bandwagon. I live in Boston. I live and die by the Sox, Celtics, and Pats. Nobody likes the Pats except for New Englanders. This isn't a Yankee situation. The Pats are clearly the undisputed most hated team in professional sports. And you know what? I love it. Hate on.
The Ravens played a HELL of a game, and if not for b/s coaching errors, they should've won. But coulda/shoulda/wouldas don't count. GO PATS!

I am sick of Shula's face. He's hanging out there hanging on to his legacy like Kornheiser on Manning's jock. Enough is a enough with him and his stupid shades. Let it go Shula. Whether the the Patriots go undefeated or not, which I don't think they will, why do we have to hear Shula's old voice on every telecast. Enough is enough.

Giants lost their RB for the season, and the last two games have showed that running the ball on NE has shown a weekness. Pittsburgh has one of the best backs in football right now.

If the bucs acn manage to win with a broken QB, and the backup making quite a very man bonehead plays (durr 2 timeouts for no reason, sack instead of incomplete pass, and a ****ing SAFETY. who the hell gets a goddamn safety) and getting lucky as **** at the end with that toss play the Aint's did, then I'm pretty sure they're going to go all the way and win the superbowl.

Wille Parker is good, but right now? His stats the last few weeks have been pretty poor, and as far as the season, he is averaging less than 4ypc, and only has 2 TD's.

Parker has over 1,000yds(second in the league) this season and has 90YPG(second in the league). They will use Parker a lot next Sunday. He also only has 2 TD's cause the Steelers pass more when they are in the red zone.
