A person's full past isn't usually revealed until they are dead in shows like this.

That would be fine except you know, the writers themselves have admitted in the Season 2 DVD that they sometimes don't know where they're going :P they are making it up as they go along. They suck.

FREAKING MIND BLOWING. This is probably now my favourite episode and HRG is officially my favourite character. It answered a whole lotta questions, and I loved every second of it. That ending was done brilliantly.

WOW this was such a kick ass episode! Its is now my 2nd favorite episode, everything was great except for the network people messing up with the commercials so I missed like 2 minutes of it. But the ending I totally did not expect!

Since Mr. Bennett has known about Claire for so long I wonder how far the Haiten will go in his mind and what is the new girls powers!

Looks like that isnt Linderman since we will see him next week.

Oh and Claire and Hiro finally have a scene together! Even though they are toddlers, its cool that they were in the same place and Hiros father I guess is the Japan version of Mr.Bennet in a way.

This was a good episode, but yeah, not as good as last week's. I am now curious about this link to Hiro's dad and what all of that means. I do think this show is getting a bit convoluted. It answers one question only to bring up more questions. I wish some of these danglers would get solved, just to streamline things. I am starting to lose track of who belongs to who.

I've always liked HRG, and now like him even more for the humanity and love he showed for Claire...really touching.

1) What is the "company"? Gov. agency? Linderman funded group? What is it and why must they be so evil/hardassed??

2) Eric Roberts' function in all of this (he's clearly not Linderman).

3) Will HRG ever get Claire back? Say if the heroes unite against the company...

Well I don't see them trusting him immediately. They'll probably need to "condition" him somewhat to make sure he's loyal to them. I don't think we'll be seeing Parkman for a few episodes and when we do see him next, he may not be such a good guy.

He's now on the run from the Company, but when Bennet sees him on the bridge instead of calling him in he just gets out. Nope, the gunshot wound, where the blood splattered and his missing memories, you wouldn't believe him. The only way to get out of that would be to say that he had help from a teleknetic, but he can't use that because he's had him mind wiped and even if he didn't there are Muties that could tell he's lying.

I think you're reaching a little. Bennett doesn't even NEED a good explanation since his mind will be wiped. It's up to the people investigating what happened to figure it out, and they won't get a single statement from Bennett that the evidence might contradict. All he's gotta say is "I don't remember" which will in fact be the truth and they'll all (rightly) assume "it was the Haitian"

if you noticed, these people have a very established action directive: "we don't know nothing", their first reaction is always to deny anything about "powers", which explains a lot of what happened in Distractions/The Fix

as much as I liked the episode there are some gaping holes that I don't know how they're going to take care of... namely:

So what if HRG forgets who Claire is? His family clearly remembers, as in his wife and that annoying son, they could just as bloody well tell HRG that Claire is his daughter yada yada.

As for Matt being HRG's partner... he would be just as suspicious wondering why HRG has absolutely no memory of Claire..
