Considering I'm the US President, it's quite simple. I'd bomb the country, problem solved. If the other nation is a nation within this nation, sure! I'd do the same thing. It depends on two factors.

Is it still a democracy?
Is it better or worse than before?

I wouldn't set roadside bombs to take out civillains though either. I might fight to drive out the occupiers, but I'd feel pretty bad. A lot of those soldiers are just carrying out orders, because they joined the service to pay for college as a way out of poverty.

Anybody who doesn't realize the relation of this poll to the situation in Iraq is blind though.

i think that most would rebel, and this poll is proving my prediction correct. eventually the rebellion of the people would lead to one unified revolution.
finlally this country could be united and act as one cohesive unit.
