I knew people would start complaining about something sooner or later.

But bottom line, that was absolutley incredible, I've watched it a lot. You know the action scene right there was better then any of the ones in Spidey 1 or 2, and thats just the first battle!!

It is amazing, the scene was so vicerial and fast paced, it was just entertaining, exhilerating.

I have a feeling that Spidey 3 could be one of the better movies in the past decade, it just seems so well put together.

And on another note, I think Young's score sounded great!

That's actually the first thing I noticed while viewing the clip. FINALLY, a score with a serious tone to it instead of damn circus music. I hope Young did the majority of the score.

Ok, i was not sold on either of the trailers. This movie did not get me amped up to see it......until tonight. Holy s*** That was one of the better fight scenes i've seen in a comicbook movie. There was just soooo much i loved about it. First, Harry's Goblin, I didn't know how i'd like it, but i Love the suit. Him chasing Peter down the narrow alley on his glider, priceless. Second, Peter outta costume, web swinging, excellent! Tobey still looks fat to me, but he firing impact webbing (though i think that was the scralet spiders deal) at Harry, and at his toys, just excellent. And the Music! I liked Elfmans score, sometimes it seemed like i was the only one who did. This score, excellent. A new take on the goblin theme from the first film. Then there was Harrys crash. I lol'd :D

Elfman did not do the Spidey 3 score, Chris Young did, who also did a lot of Spidey 2.

And yes I thought the music was excellent. More serious.

That was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen! I've watched it twice, and I'll keep it at that for tonight, but I'm still reeling from it! Endorphine Rush! The emotional scenes were equally as encouraging as the truly insane goblin fight! I can't belive what I just saw!

I have no complaints except the Harry- Peter music

Well that was more point, spidey has lost the symbiote by this point, so unless theres still a little bit of darkness left in him, I doubt he's the culprit. I think it's more a case of the wife and daughter going to him willingly, I remember a shot where spidey was swinging into the construction site with hundreds of people watching below, so I'm guessing it's a public event, they probably go to try to reason with flint.

Wow...that clip was so amazing...first off, the fight between Harry and Pete was awesome...just seeing Harry flying through the sky, then capturing Peter and taking him up...that was cool...I just really, really enjoyed it...and seeing a giant Sandman and then seeing Venom, which, they made the symbiote, I guess, more liquid-y now when it covers Eddie...but, more importantly, this clip should show everyone that Sam Raimi knows what he is doing...so even if he didn't make Harry the Green Goblin II or into Hobgoblin, they should know that Raimi made Harry's new version B-A.

You're supposed to give two initial breaths and then do chest compressions. You now have the option of not doing anymore breaths afterwards because its been realized its more important to do chest compressions effectively.

Also, the ratio for compressions to breaths is supposed to be 30:2 for professionals or 15:2 for lay-persons.

In Peter's case, he initially did the right thing by listening for breath sounds. Smart boy. But he didn't check to see if he had a pulse. But, if he ain't breathing, I think it's safe to say he doesn't have a pulse. LOL...imagine Spider-Man doing chest thrusts on you. That would hurt!

It was a cool fight indeed, except for the fact that they forgot about Peter's spidey-sense??? WTF is up with that! At least they put in the sound effect when Harry threw the pumpkin weapons... but they completely left out his spidey sense when Harry attacks him on the scooter.

i just watched it again...if you notice, right before Peter gets grabbed, his face turns from completely happy to kind of a "something's not right" expression. So they didn't neglect it, they just didn't give us the spider-sense sound.

Who the hell is teaching the class? The whole point of CPR is to supply the brain, and heart, with O2 blood (this prevents cell death); giving 15 breaths and 4 pumps would be pointless (4 pumps wouldn't even be enough to refill the heart with blood). The breaths basiclly add more O2 to the body nothing more. It's the compressions that are important; you initially fill the heart with blood, then the blood travels from the heart to the other organs, most importantly the brain. That's why it was changed from 15 compressions to 30; the less time you use filling the heart with blood (it takes a couple of compressions) the more time is used filling the other organs with blood.

Just remember from now on: 30 compressions to 2 breaths, nothing more!

Well I just watched the 480p video.

Quite impressive. The first two scenes impressed me more actually. Nice to see in such an action-packed movie that it has not lost sight of the characters and what made the first two (particularly the second) so good.

The fight sequence was well made. CGI was spotty in a few bits but that can be fixed. I just think the only weakness is too light a tone. The close ups of Peter screaming and the sound effects when Harry takes a nose dive, especially the crickets....undercut what should be a much more emotional fight.

Overall, I'm impressed and a little disappointed in myself for watching the Goblin fight before the movie even came out though.

I just think it's fantastic that we've been blessed with a superhero franchise where real, dramatic arcs that begun all the way back in the first film are coming to a head and being dealt with five years later in the third film, and aren't being done half-assed.

This fight sequence isn't just a random duel between good guy/bad guy. This is the emotional culmination of a relationship we were introduced to back in 2002, which ended with a turning point in the death of Harry's father. We saw how that pain succumbed Harry and gave him this thirst for revenge in 2004, and now here we are in 2007 paying all of that off with a brutal, unrelenting duel above the streets of New York; in between skyscrapers, through alleyways and buildings.

Raimi/Sony/Sargent/Ziskin, I love you.

I've always been disappointed in how the Spidey Vs. Green Goblin fights in the first movie turned out... and this totally makes up for it. This is exactly what I expect out of a Spidey Vs. GG fight.
