It all depends on why he runs this site...
If he's just looking for monetary gain, it may be more cost effective for him to keep it (depending on how much money he gets from advertising vs the expense of maintaining the site).
If he runs this site for enjoyment, rather than money, would $18 / $19 million provide enough enjoyment for him to give it up?
If he's in it for the adulation of comic book geeks... then he'll want to keep it.
On the flip side... it hasn't rated a wikipedia entry yet.
I'm getting a crack team together to steal the site and sell it on the black market.
Just FYI. :o

I've been waiting for that moment. We really need something ridiculous to put us over the top and make us wikipedia worthy. Maybe if there's a string of murders among our members and a crack team of detectives has to form in order to stop the killer... but he might be one of their own.

That's amusing. The only people I've ever seen get permanently banned for life from this place were the ones who insisted on acting like a-holes over and over and over again over the course of multiple accounts. And the only people who've had single accounts that I've seen get banned were pushing the envelope and just trying to see how far they could take things. It cracks me up when these people then complain about being banned with no willingness to take responsibility for the things they did that got them banned in the first place. Instead they cry "fascist" and "nazi" and blame everyone but themselves. Newsflash, Sparky: you got banned because you deserved it. Quit crying about it and move on with your life.
