anybody else like them? i have been getting really into them recently...so im rooting for them to do well in the cmt video awards. if your digging them too be sure to vote for them on cmt.com....if your not i suppose you can vote for someone else...i have to be fair and balanced after all.

Even when I listened to County Music everyday, I hated Rascal Flatts :down

Actually, the lead singer has some amazing pipes!

But the band suffers from three seriously inexcusable things:

1 - Overexposure on the radio
2 - Overglammed appearance (They look like a Country Group got lost in a forest full of "Magic-Beads" sewing machines
3 - Too much "Crossover Appeal" put into their records, aka, the studio writes the same songs over and over and they try to sell it as Pop & Country & Alternative.

Essentially Rascal Flatts, after a flattering start, is now to Country Music what Nickelback is to Rock'n'Roll.

Well, it's been nearly a year since the last post in this thread...shame...

I don't care what anyone else, says, Rascal Flatts rocks!!! I can probably name maybe 3 or 4 songs of theirs I don't like, and they've done 5 albums so far. I actually stayed away from country music for about 5 years (burned out on it), and rapidly became a fan of these guys. Most of their songs are about genuine emotions and experiences, many of them positive...unlike about half of everything else on the charts.

What is a "Rascal Flatts"?I'm not sure, but the group's name could be a reference to them as 3 "rascals" from the "flat lands" commonly associated with country life.
