How about focusing on Superman. However, since it looks like Singer will still be at the helm, the focus will be the kid, a soap opera love triangle, and a super being who feels isolated and alone. He can't just forget about Superman Returns. He has to continue the same tired themes he used in the first one.

the focus in SR was not on the kid. and singer howed with x-men that he doesnt copy hes old movies.

so i odnt know why the sequel would be about the same stuff than in SR

Actually, I think that Superman is now content with his place in the world again. He is happy to just know there is somebody else like him in the world, and that he is not alone. The movie ended with Superman flying into the sunset with a smile on his face. The same theme shouldn't be used in a sequel, and I doubt it will.

How about a 70's theme? Give Routh a massive afro.

Rofl dude, love the idea...

Although why don't we save that for the next terrible terrible spoof.

As for MoS, how about we try and pass the theme of finding one's place in the world on to Jason, while Supes has to deal with the legacy of his planet (Brainiac), and see himself reflected in that (you know, the "devil inside you" theme).

Well, what should be the theme of the next movie is "reboot".

i think it could talk about trust, hope or things in life that you can never fixed, even though you're superman.

Realistically the only theme it could possibly have is the one from Sky high.

And maybe a little bit of kramer vs kramer.

Oh and singer said he can only make movies that women will cry at 20 years later, so I doubt it'll be kick ass.

How come you aren't talking about Jason as much as you used to? Lost your passion for the character? :cwink:

in that case, maybe make it like "finding Nemo" superman version. jason gone missing, superman goes all the way beyond the extend of universe to find his son. afterall, find nemo was a great success. ;)

just as the theme in SR was Superman: the alien, i bet the theme in the sequel will be Superman: the human. Instead of exploring his alien heritage (i.e. Jor-El), Superman will explore his human heritage (i.e. Jonathan Kent) and how it relates to Jason (and Richard.) Let's just hope its not all cut from the final print!
