Yea that gets me a bit too. I have been suggesting it could be the vigilante Batman...and from this scene they put him in the back of the white van and deliver him to The Joker. Or like you say, he could have improved his toxin...but if he's improved his toxin, surely that would mean batman would be ****ed? the last one put him in bed for three days.

Also, to add to your theory - which I think is a very good one - why would they need a "stunt double" for Batman if he's just required to fall to the ground screaming? Perhaps its not a stunt double, but rather, it's not supposed to be the actual Batman?

If only we could confirm if it was Anthony Michael Hall under the cape n' cowl. If not, that might be another clue to suggest he's NOT the vigilante...

sorry this doesnt make sense. batman always learns from hes mistakes. scarecrow gassed him only once. the second time he knew what was coming and scarecrow didnt get him.so again only once in BB. the second time scarecrow got owned.


IMO it would chepaen the movie down very much if scarecrow again gasses batman.

Did you get a good look at the guy?

It's impossible to make out the details...but it looks kinda like he's wearing a straitjacket? Could it be The Joker, bust out of Arkham? We've heard The Joker gets captured at one point in the film. Maybe Scarecrow has arranged for his release, and the gangster guy's all like "What use could you possible have for this filth?"

Pure speculation though.

Lots of snipers were there early...only to see a few scenes being filmmed 1 level under the rooftop set in the parking garage. The scenes were gunfire and gang members running for cover.

Also...not being filmmed was a stunt double jumping from the rooftop into the level below. He had on a batman outfit...but no cowl.

After about 2 hours or so everyone went on break....most of the people standing around snapping pictures left. But we stayed. I hung out below and heard that Cillian was spotted! I tried to find him but didn't. However I did find Chris Nolan. Got his autograph on my BB DVD and a picture with him.

around 2:30-3ish they returned to the set and started filmming 2 gangs fighting with each other. Then I spotted Cillian and they filmmed him yelling at the gang. The sound of gunfire blasted and everyone ran for cover. They repeated this over and over again. here are a few pics of the gangs talking to each other. The people on the right are the Scarecrow gang. The gang on the left...I have No idea? They were all dressed nice so maybe part of the mob?

Riiiiiight I get it now. I previously guessed that the bodyguard was probably the Scarecrow but people said it couldn't be because the part was up for audition. It's actually that the Scarecrow that has his OWN bodyguard, but he's still in the scene which explains the fear gas. So simple why didn't we figure it out before?

Not exactly, the suit he took from his company, made by fox.Then from that he adjusted it to make it look like the bat he envisioned. Plus it was a military prototype suit and expensive. I mean the vigilante's probably a guy that won't have bruce's resources not even near so the materials he uses shouldn't look as good they should look cheaper and rough in design. If you know what I mean.

One thing I did forget to mention that wasnt a big deal. While they werent filming, the mobsters all walked around that floor realy casually with their machine guns/rifles. It was a tad off-putting. I had never seen an action set like this before. For half a sec I was like Crap! but wait its fake.

It is not uncommon to dye the surface of the hair so as to blend better with the wig. I have worked with a few cancer patients that still kept what little hair they had dyed so when they taped/clipped the wig in it didnt stand out.

I absolutely loved Murphy's performace as Scarecrow in BB. Definately a great choice.

Yeah, I and a couple other snoopers went to the Penthouse on Friday while they were filming. Chicago police were everywhere, so I wasn't going to chance getting arrested. I'll screw with set security, but not the cops. Needless to say, we didn't get anything.

Any idea if they're filming tonight? I hope not - I have an early meeting.

Yea, we're pretty sure they're filming every night until Sunday. On Sunday there's helicopters doing low-level flying so we assume they're filming chase scenes towards the end of the week, maybe rooftop in between.

You guys I think are exactly right. If you look at where the dye is on his hair, it's only on the sides, I'm betting he wears a wig over the top middle portions and back of his head, and they dye just the sides and slick it to the side over his ears.

It is not uncommon to dye the surface of the hair so as to blend better with the wig. I have worked with a few cancer patients that still kept what little hair they had dyed so when they taped/clipped the wig in it didnt stand out.

It is still confusing though, in the very first candid photo we got of Ledger beside the trailers, it does look like all his hair is green, and slicked back, maybe they use a wig for some scenes like flashbacks and his own hair for others (and vice versa)

Exactly. In that shot, Ledger's long stringy hair has simply fallen down over his ears after removing his mask. The screen blurs it all together and makes it look like thick frizzy hair.

Nay, Nolan was at the other end of the set. It was indeed Ledger. That photo was taken about 100 yards away. But when I was across the street, it was clearly Ledger.

Ok I am at a McDonalds about two blocks from the rooftop set. Security everywhere but just watching equipment. nothing going on but some guys doing some prep work up top. I can see the cast trailers from here. They now have signs on the doors including "Scarecrow Gang" and "B Double" (the ones I can see. and a lot of the word FAUX. I will be here all night in the garages. Anyone have a clue of what theyll film 2night? Guards wont talk. Also, Scarecrows white van is still parked in same spot as spy pics. Let me know! Im getting lots of pics!

uh there's nothing at lake and randolph. the garage is at randolph and wells, one block away. furthermore, the chipotle that the original bat signal scenes were shot on is at franklin and lake, not randolph and lake.

we've known about this location for three weeks now. we've known about the shooting dates for five days now.

your scooper must be really close to the production to have all that exclusive info.
