I have my doubts. The "panda-eyes" are less prominent than in other pictures. And he is wearing a green waistcoat, when the pictures from before clearly show his waistcoat was PURPLE on that night.

pretty strong confirmation from one of the "exclusive report" crewThe scene we saw filmed (in which the Joker and henchmen are in the trailer shooting at pursuing GCPD vehicles) was with Heath himself. He did have a wire rig on just so he wouldn't fall out of the truck. They hid this by using ropes on the ceiling of the trailer that the Joker and goons held onto. I am going to say that when the truck isn't crashing into cars it's Heath that is wired into the back of the truck. And when they are doing scenes with it crashing into cars it's the stunt double. I assume this pic is of the stunt double, based on the fact that his makeup isn't as complete.

Heath skates between breaks on alot of the movies he works on, he was just doing it for fun.

Those FOX videos are amazing in their detail - and it seems clear now that his neck is not white-colored, or at least not as white as his face. On the other hand, we know now that he is wearing a buttoned-up shirt and a tie, not to mention a jacket and overcoat on top of that, so I'm wondering if neck makeup is even necessary? Those FOX videos are amazing in their detail - and it seems clear now that his neck is not white-colored, or at least not as white as his face. On the other hand, we know now that he is wearing a buttoned-up shirt and a tie, not to mention a jacket and overcoat on top of that, so I'm wondering if neck makeup is even necessary? Maybe they'll do a post-production touch-up on it? Just a guess.

I'm sure it was just for special features or whatever.
the fact that he skateboards during breaks in all his movies confirms that the possibility of that being an actual scene in the movie is low.
plus everyone was in a rut at the time there were people working on the set while it was following him, kind of confirms that this wont be in the movie

Well I mean if they're doing wide shots (wide action shots, nonetheless), and he's wearing all this heavy clothing, and he's wearing three collars (a collared shirt w/ tie, a jacket, and an overcoat), I'm wondering if he even needs neck makeup. Sort of akin to his hands - if he's wearing gloves, no need to do them up. Perhaps his neck is the same way and is mostly covered up by the costume.

On the other hand, you never know - you could explain it away by saying that he only was bleached on his face/head, not the rest of his body. But the two-tone is distracting, and I'm hoping Nolan has more sense to make Joker visually cohesive.

Still, Ledger looks pretty freaky. In the videos his hair is down, but I'd imagine with the complete look, suit, trenchcoat, and slicked back hair, he's a total nightmare.

one thing that makes me think that its not ledger is he seems nervous he keeps swaying around.

It actually looks like the camera truck is "resetting," it's pulling back into place. Ledger is just following it back, it seems, and they're having fun by filming him at the same time. If we're lucky, we'll see it in a DVD extra.

And it would be a great twist if the media/Gotham/Batman/Gordon/etc. all thought Joker was just a makeup-wearing freak at first, yet towards the end, they realize...it ain't makeup, it's his skin. That would be horrifying to the characters and please the rest of the diehards at the same time.

However, I think the most logical explanation is that the makeup isn't necessary on certain bodyparts when they're filming certain types of scenes (especially action shots at night.)

Hi everyone I'm new here!!!

I seen the reports about no Batpod sightings. I actually did see it on Thursday. I had an apppointment to register with the casting office for the parade scene. As I was leaving, I was walking near Addison and saw the back tire of it sticking out of a white trailer and a guy was washing the truck it was attached to. He yelled at me for trying to take pics so I hid behind some big orange machine and snapped a few photos off.

They have a whole bunch of stuff set up over by the WGN studios. I saw a warehouse with a massive wooden panels they were building and alot of white semis with RFK on the sides.


I see alot of bickering about the make up issue, I think they didnt bother to do a full job due to them filming far shots and vehicle shots. They will probably film all the close up details shots later.

No filming tomorrow night? Damn, I was thinking of going downtown to catch the Jimmy Norton book signing and was thinking of hanging out to see what was going on.

On a side note, great job to you guys out there every night digging up dirt and photos.

Thanks. It's a big stretch but have there been any reports of filming with the batpod yet, or just going up and down Wacker? On second thoughts its really a stretch too far to think they're just testing it, with the stuntman apparently in the Batman costume
