I'm a Ye fan, from an emcee perspective. I think he spits material that's better than 95% of what's topping the pop charts currently. Though, his flow is a bit awkward as hell at times and he has a tendency to say s*** that makes me turn my head, and not in a good way.

Personally when it comes down to sitting down and really listening to a hip hop artist's lines, I've been studying Lupe nonstop over the past few months. I recommend any real hip hop fan do the same.

You'll notice that we ARE ALWAYS talking around this sort of thing.

Any mistreatment of Black people is put on black people to the point where statements like what I've been responding to start cropping up.

People just don't know their history.

It didn't matter for a long time how "good" you were,.. how polite, how educated,.. the funniest joke for the ugliest whites used to be:

"What do you call a black? - a ni99er"
(white chuckletrack)
"What do you call a black doctor? - a ni99er"
(White laughter)

Our history is full of that mess in this country,... and people would rather we either ignore it or blame blacks for someone elses poor behavior:

It should scare people to hear someone justify monsterous behavior on the victim.

But It's okay to blame a blackman for a white off duty cop shooting him:
"If only he had NOT driven by with a white woman in the car in a way for the coranado off duty cop to not think he "might be drunk."

"If only he had laid down on the ground when he was told to by the white guy in sweats who had followed him for thirty miles in a civilian car at gunpoint?."

"Of course (the police tried to say) the black man was shot because he had anger issues and probably suffered from "roid rage" - so the off duty cop had no choice."
(1. the battery of tests that were forced on the player only showed he was legally intoxicated,.... apparently not enough to impair his driving for 30 miles, but enough to try to justify the cop following him. - no drugs in his system, no steroids.
2. The official report was conflicted in that what the cop said didn't match the three bullet holes he put into the blackman,... nor did it jive with the sworn statements by the BM and his date.)

After they embarrassed themselves by running thru EVERY stereotype excuse for beating down a minority so the public would ignore what they did,... San Diego police Quietly dropped all their charges on him except driving under the influence and bumped all court proceedings three months down the line so the public would forget that a professional football player,.. a black college graduate who was Shot for driving drunk, had his career taken away by a cop who most believe if he'd done the same thing to any sort of professional white man would have been fired and tossed under the jail.

People don't pay attention to the large number of these things because it is falsely promoted that if the police get that rough YOU MUST be doing something wrong.

It's a touchy subject for me because I quickly learned in my years in the military crossing this country back and forth that all that kept me from being detained for hours or tossed in jail over a weekend by bored law enforcement was my military ID.

I wasn't "sir" until the ID came out.

I shudder at the thought of what happened to BM who were not in the military who were stopped for driving past a cop who was comfortable with the thought that no one would question whatever he'd do to a blackman.

In Europe,blacks are shunned..but not dispised.Especially in Eastern Europe,where most..if not all the population is white.America pre 1900 felt the same as Europe does now.

I know black people aren't too welcomed in Germany, but Britain too?


just came back from 2 months in Europe and I have no idea what he is talking about... Several of my good friends have spent extended periods of time in Eastern Europe and said the natives were Very Friendly...

All countries have certain levels of racism but certainly in western and central europe its no worst than any modern day countries. You probabley get more hate in Europe for being a Gypsy than anything else lol
