I bolded what I guess is what you were asking about.

His passive powers (the blessings he receives) are basically explained for each Archangel that corresponds with each day in the small paragraphs. Most start with "Call on Gabriel..." for an example. Basically, he has easier help dealing with those kinds of situations. If you want to say, more wisdom about them and how to help.

Each Archangel has listed a different element. But he can only tap into his active/aggressive powers (the sword and elements) when defending the innocent. So he is real powerful only in the defense of innocent blood, and super powerful on Sundays.

I get that, but when it's control over an element, what excatly can he do? If someone has control of water for example, they could be able to shape it perhaps, spped up the flow, or could they raise the sea, create water-like beasts, control the water in people's bodies etc?

Sorry if my request was unclear, but I am liking the idea a lot, just wanting to know the extent etc of powers.

Origin Info/Details: The brittish immigrant Gabriel Thomas, taught Shakespeare to a young american class. One day, he completley flipped out and killed the whole class. He didn't attempt to run, he just sat down and started reading Romeo and Julliet aloud to the dead children. He was of course, arrested, and his lawyers pleaded insanity. He was sent to a secure asylum, which he broke out of, after killing three guards. It has recentley come to light that the asylum had discovered he had a camoflauge ability.

In a way...it was kind of best you were a tad confused about his gifts. Because I had things in mind I forgot to put down. But I figured I could introduce in the posts to come and all would be good. A good kid in heart; your average Catholic boy. He struggles to remain true to his obligations, for sometimes questions the power of God. At times he finds himself lost, falling into the belief that not everyone can be saved and be truly touched by God. He questions at times as well why such a burden has been placed onto his shoulders. But he still goes on, trying his best.

Origin Info/Details:
Michael was an orphan and has been for as long as he can remember. He doesn't remember a thing about his parents, but for some strange reason, people keep saying he has his father's eyes. Oddly enough, Michael's eyes are a golden kind of pearl white. Later, when Michael would grow older, he would question them about this, but receive no further answers. It is as if that is all they can tell him about his father.

His mother, when became of age, was told to him to have been a spirited woman. Always keeping her faith in God, and living her life according to his plans, she was a parishioner of the local Cathedral. Her romantic life was not something commonly known, yet she gave birth to a child. Giving birth to him, however, she had died; Michael was sent to the orphanage.

He didn't stay in the orphanage for too long, however. By the time he was 9, he was finally accepted into an adoptive family: The Angelos. As a child, Michael would grow up according to his adoptive family's lifestyle which just so happened to be that of any common family around the area: devoted Catholics. He took up a interest in art, and one day his teacher glanced at one of his pieces of work one day and said "Wow, Michael Angelo, you're a real Michaelangelo" and the nickname stuck. It never bothered him, however. The nickname was something that he accepted easily.

Many Catholic schools around the country have different times when they allow a young man or woman to take the sacrament of Confirmation. Confirmation is the conferral of sanctifying grace and the strengthening of the union between individual souls and God. Little did Michael know, that his Confirmation would become so much more than that. On the day of his Confirmation, he was given the duty of The Archangel.

It was not through a burning bush, or a voice to his head, it was through an angel. The morning day of his Confirmation on Sunday, Michael was visited by the Angel of Prophecy: Bath Kol. The angel told Michael about the task of The Archangel, but the young man was so much in shock about it, that he believed it to be a dream. But the moment that Michael went up to the altar later that afternoon before The Bishop to complete his sacrament of Confirmation, he felt something change in him; but he did not quite understand what.

He goes on, living life to pursue his passion for painting in hope to become a famous artist. Little does he know someone called God is going to have a different plan for him that is going to intervene with his daily life.

He can tap into what is called The Archangel state. In this state, a flash of light comes down from the heavens, transforming him. Angel-Fire wings sprout from his back (looks like white fiery wings), allowing him flight. Also, when in this state, he can tap into his power over the elements (active powers) depending on the day because it depends on which Archangel.

His power over the elements are his "active powers". These abilities coincide with the Element of each Archangel. On certain days, depending on the Archangel, he can manipulate the elements of each Archangel, so long as that said element is in his presence. The elements can only be used in self defense and while in The Archangel state, except for water if the purpose is to heal the wounded.

However, on Tuesdays he is entirely powerless. While he is powerless he is not excused from serving God's will. He must still serve him, and as a man, and help affect someone's life for the better. This day of the week is when he is truly his own hero. Although this also makes him at his weakest and most vulnerable state.

Father Damian - Priest at the local Cathedral. Frequently helps Michael when he goes into the Church, feeling lost. He is also going to be Michael's mentor as he tries to understand his role as The Archangel.

1. I originally wanted to make a healer type of character, so immediately thought of an angel like character. When it came down to really thinking about it, I decided I wanted a character who was blessed by the angels. When I went around trying to find information, I stumbled upon information about Archangels, and I knew this is what I wanted to work with.

2. I happen to be Catholic, and the idea of a hero like this appeals to me. And also because I am Catholic, I figure I can portray and define who he is well.

3. I figured it would be interesting, because I was pretty confident that a character such as this would never be brought up or introduced.

Well, this is a character with a lot of weight on his shoulders. He has the responsibility never before bestowed upon a human; he carries the weights of an angel. He must carry out God's will.

As much as it would be required. I am guessing that for a while my stuff will be pretty self-contained. But if I become committed to working on an arc with another RPer, I shall do my best do respond as quickly as possible if need be.

(Well, as far as Origin goes...not really much to say; he grew up in an orphanage. So I hope you understand that this is the first time he "uses" his blessings in a sense and I hope that is acceptable.)

I woke up this morning, just like any other ordinary day...but...it wasn't ordinary. I don't know what it was exactly. But it seemed like I wasn't exactly me. Sure, I got up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and I could clearly see that it was me in the mirrior, but...my eyes. My eyes were different.

I do not exactly have the most natural looking pair of eyes...but I woke up this Monday morning and they were a sort of indigo purplish white. I have to admit it really freaked me out. But nothing was as weird as when I stepped out for the day to do some errands before I was going to meet up with my girlfriend, Grace.

The average monday? Okay, let's take a look at it for a quick moment. The average monday, is a boring monday. Why? Because it's monday. And it's because it is monday, that I wake up just aching to get the day over with. My life is a routine and has been for all my life practically. But today? On this monday? Something weird happened to me. I was walking past street corner, and this hobo came up to me.

That wasn't the weird part. When you are walking down the streets of Boston, it isn't exactly a shock. But it's what he said when he came up to me that confused me.

"I do not know what to do anymore. I've lost my job, my wife...I've lost it all: my life. I've asked God what it is I should do, and I just do not think he is going to answer me back."

I stood there, confused and a bit freaked out. Who wouldn't? Am I wearing a cross on my chest? Am I holding rosary beads? Am I wearing a dress? Why the heck does this dude come up to me like I'm some Priest to lead the way? I was scared, that's what. So I acted on instinct; it was kind of weird in itself too.

"Uh, there's always the Church, you know. You know the Cathedral, just a few blocks down? It's huge, you cannot miss it. Maybe God will answer you there. Matter a fact, I know one of the priest there real well. His name is Father Damian. He's helped me with some things I thought was the end of the world too. Have a talk with him. He'll help you get your life back on track, I'm sure."

He was sent to a secure asylum, which he broke out of, after killing three guards. It has recentley come to light that the asylum had discovered he had a camoflauge ability.

Ha Cool. I haven't been able to find time to draw any of my character's. So having someone else draw him would be great. And I've seen your work to. Soo let me try to sum this up.

When he goes off on his own he'll have short spiky hair. He won't have a costume until season 2 so just a hoody and pants. He wont have a mask. Mist comes out of his eyes covering them making it hard to identify when he uses his powers. His scar is under his left eye and stretches from his cheek to about his ear. He has the build of Spider-Man. And that about it besides the fact that when he uses his powers it the element he uses covers about half of his forearm. (Kinda like Bioshock) And thats it. :woot:

He grew up not too far from Lost Haven in Conway New Hampshire. It's a small ski resort town several just several hours south of the city. Although he grew up a normal kid with normal a normal family, he is anything but normal. He has amazing powers that he doesn't fully understand. While he was growing up he hated himself, he was angry at the world for making him a "freak." He wanted nothing to do with his powers, he just wanted a normal life. However, as time went on and he grew older he learned to deal with his powers, and eventually he embraced them. He believes in fighting for what is right. He believes in protecting the weak, and making sure that they are taken care of. Overall, he is a good man with great power, trying to do the right thing.

When he is not in costume fighting villains or trying to stop general catastrophe he is a recent college graduate who is working as a history teacher, who at 25 years of age (he took alittle time off from school) is one of the younger teachers at Sherman High School, in Lost Haven which also makes him one of the more popular teachers in the school.

Origin Info/Details: Scott Morse may seem like a normal guy, but he is anything but. Everything about him is a lie, his parents, his older brother as well as his younger sister. None of it is real. Although they raised him as their son, he isn't. In fact, he isn't even really human. Scott was the result of a secret experiment by an even more secret government agency that mixed alien DNA with that of a human. While he was a baby; he was cared for by a woman named Barbara Hill, who was a member of the top secret government agency known as the SHTTF (Superhuman Threat Task Force). What the objective of this experiment was is unknown. While going about her daily tasks at the project, Dr. Hill learned that the program had been terminated, all evidence was to be destroyed, and the baby known only then as SKT-17 (she affectionately called him "Scott") was to be eliminated. Having recently lost her own child due to the actions of a drunk driver who also claimed the life of Dr. Hill's husband, she could not stand the thought of this child who she began to see as her own, could be killed. She stole the child from the laboratory which created him, and fled to the north. She gave the child to a trusted friend, Jacob Morse and his young bride Elizabeth. Soon after, Dr. Hill was tracked down by agents of the SHTTF and killed. Jacob and Elizabeth took the young baby, and continued calling him Scott as they felt that there would be no need to change his name, seeings as that is what Dr. Hill had called him his whole life.

Scott was raised by the Morse's as one of their own children. He always knew that he was different, that he had these abilities, but he never understood why. As his powers developed throughout his childhood, he became increasingly confused and angry. This was a cause for concern for his parents, because they never understood exactly why their son was this way. Eventually he learned to deal with his gifts. At first he used his gifts for selfish reasons, often profiting from using them dishonestly (mostly in athletic bets). However, after an incident which left his brother crippled, he began using his abilities to help people. After graduating high school, he went on to attend Lost Haven University, eventually graduating with a teaching degree in history, which allowed him to become a teacher at Lost Haven's Sherman High School. It is his new life that challenges him to balance his life as a civilian and his life as something more. As the hero known as Icon.

"Hurry Up, get that money into the bags!" One of the masked assailants screamed to one of the others.

Four masked men had stormed into Centennial Bank demanding that all the money be handed over. Juanita Juarez crouched in a corner, trying not to look at the carnage on the floor. However, she didn't have to look at it, he knew exactly what had happened in the moments after the masked men entered the bank. Two security guards and a customer were all dead, killed in the hail of gunfire that erupted when the masked men made their intentions clear. Trying to avoid detection, she just sat there; huddled in the corner, hoping that this would all end soon.

"This is Captain Price of the Lost Haven Police Department. We don't want anyone to get hurt, just come out and place your weapons on the ground." A voice came from outside. The four masked man became agitated, prodding the tellers to hurry with the money.

The man who seemed to be leading the robbers went over to the large glass door and opened it a crack as if he were to begin negotiating a way out. Instead, he fired several shots at the police cruisers parked in front of the bank. The police returned fire, sending shattered glass all over the inside of the bank.

"Hold your fire d*mn it!" Captain Price ordered, recognizing the danger that the civilians inside the bank were in. He puts the megaphone he is holding to his mouth again.

"Hold your fire, there is no need for anymore bloodshed. We can resolve this peacefully, and without any more casualties." Then another shot rings out, forcing Price to get back behind the squad cars.

Realizing that the situation is getting worse, the lead masked man began looking around the bank looking for a way out of the bank that didn't involve him being in prison or a body bag.

"Jimmy, go around and check the back, maybe we can get out that way."

The thug that the lead masked man was talking to nodded and went out the back, and came back moments later looking alittle panicked.

"That's covered too, three maybe four units out there. We're trapped."

The lead masked man looks around at the hostages and sets his sights on Juanita Juarez, who is still huddled in the corner. He quickly moves over to her and grabs her by the hair, forcing her to her feet. "GET UP!" he screams at her. She lets out a cry as he forces her against the wall.

"Everyone up, NOW!" He screams at the hostages, as the other masked men corral the remaining hostages up against the same wall as Juanita.

"Alright folks, this is real simple. We're getting out of here, and you're all going to make sure that we get out safely. We're all going to walk out together, and your gonna be standing right in front of us as a human shield. If the pigs open fire, you'll be there to make sure that we don't get hit. And if you try to run, make no mistake about it, I will shoot you. Now, are we all clear on that?"

Suddenly confusion takes over as there is an explosion of glass, and what can almost be described as some sort of whirlwind inside the bank. The gunmen and hostages gather their wits and they see a man standing before them. He is dressed in a dark blue body suit with silver bands on the arms and legs, a blue and silver cape, and he has a thin mask that is the same shade of blue as his costume. The man just stands there as the gunmen open fire on him. The gunmen and hostages stand there in amazement as they watch the bullets just bounce off him.

"Oh no, this ain't hapening, this AIN'T happening!" The lead thug shrieks as he continues to fire his weapon until it runs out of bullets. Then the man fires optic blasts at the four masked men's weapons, knocking them from their grips. The man in blue grabs the first masked man and tosses him into a wall, obviously holding back as to not serious injure the man.

"That's enough guys, it's over. Give it up and nobody has to get hurt." He says to the other three men. They think it over for a moment, and then stand down.

Moments later the man leads the hostages and the masked men out of the bank to the police who are waiting down on the street. When he met Captain Price and the other officers they just stood there for a moment looking at him, not knowing what to make of this new player in the city.

"Thanks for the help son." Captain Price felt somewhat embarrassed at the hokiness of what he said, but it was all he was able to muster.

"I'm just glad I was able to help sir." Then in front of the police, and the media that had gathered at the bank, he just flew away.

Thanks, hopefully I get approved and can start rping with him. I shouldn't run into the same problems I ran in to with Forsaken, he was just a very one dimensional character. Icon would allow for alot more interaction and better rping, not just one fight after another

"Hurry Up, get that money into the bags!" One of the masked assailants screamed to one of the others.

Four masked men had stormed into Centennial Bank demanding that all the money be handed over. Juanita Juarez crouched in a corner, trying not to look at the carnage on the floor. However, she didn't have to look at it, he knew exactly what had happened in the moments after the masked men entered the bank. Two security guards and a customer were all dead, killed in the hail of gunfire that erupted when the masked men made their intentions clear. Trying to avoid detection, she just sat there; huddled in the corner, hoping that this would all end soon.

"This is Captain Price of the Lost Haven Police Department. We don't want anyone to get hurt, just come out and place your weapons on the ground." A voice came from outside. The four masked man became agitated, prodding the tellers to hurry with the money.

The man who seemed to be leading the robbers went over to the large glass door and opened it a crack as if he were to begin negotiating a way out. Instead, he fired several shots at the police cruisers parked in front of the bank. The police returned fire, sending shattered glass all over the inside of the bank.

"Hold your fire d*mn it!" Captain Price ordered, recognizing the danger that the civilians inside the bank were in. He puts the megaphone he is holding to his mouth again.

"Hold your fire, there is no need for anymore bloodshed. We can resolve this peacefully, and without any more casualties." Then another shot rings out, forcing Price to get back behind the squad cars.

Realizing that the situation is getting worse, the lead masked man began looking around the bank looking for a way out of the bank that didn't involve him being in prison or a body bag.

"Jimmy, go around and check the back, maybe we can get out that way."

The thug that the lead masked man was talking to nodded and went out the back, and came back moments later looking alittle panicked.

"That's covered too, three maybe four units out there. We're trapped."

The lead masked man looks around at the hostages and sets his sights on Juanita Juarez, who is still huddled in the corner. He quickly moves over to her and grabs her by the hair, forcing her to her feet. "GET UP!" he screams at her. She lets out a cry as he forces her against the wall.

"Everyone up, NOW!" He screams at the hostages, as the other masked men corral the remaining hostages up against the same wall as Juanita.

"Alright folks, this is real simple. We're getting out of here, and you're all going to make sure that we get out safely. We're all going to walk out together, and your gonna be standing right in front of us as a human shield. If the pigs open fire, you'll be there to make sure that we don't get hit. And if you try to run, make no mistake about it, I will shoot you. Now, are we all clear on that?"

Suddenly confusion takes over as there is an explosion of glass, and what can almost be described as some sort of whirlwind inside the bank. The gunmen and hostages gather their wits and they see a man standing before them. He is dressed in a dark blue body suit with silver bands on the arms and legs, a blue and silver cape, and he has a thin mask that is the same shade of blue as his costume. The man just stands there as the gunmen open fire on him. The gunmen and hostages stand there in amazement as they watch the bullets just bounce off him.

"Oh no, this ain't hapening, this AIN'T happening!" The lead thug shrieks as he continues to fire his weapon until it runs out of bullets. Then the man fires optic blasts at the four masked men's weapons, knocking them from their grips. The man in blue grabs the first masked man and tosses him into a wall, obviously holding back as to not serious injure the man.

"That's enough guys, it's over. Give it up and nobody has to get hurt." He says to the other three men. They think it over for a moment, and then stand down.

Moments later the man leads the hostages and the masked men out of the bank to the police who are waiting down on the street. When he met Captain Price and the other officers they just stood there for a moment looking at him, not knowing what to make of this new player in the city.

"Thanks for the help son." Captain Price felt somewhat embarrassed at the hokiness of what he said, but it was all he was able to muster.

"I'm just glad I was able to help sir." Then in front of the police, and the media that had gathered at the bank, he just flew away.

Basically my idea was a colorchanging suit that changes color depending on the element he uses. Here's the color code:

white: none
red: fire
lightblue: ice
blue: water
gray: air/wind
green: lightning
darkgreen: plants/nature
brown: stone
black: earth
yellow: weather

By eliminating second-characters early on, you rob people of opportunities to help shape this universe. This universe is just starting out, and as such, people should be given every opportunity to help mold it...rather than waiting.

I honestly think it's ludicrous that established RPers with high reputations are denied their chance to test the waters with different styles of characters. I can see why you wouldn't want new people to have two characters, but no one says that you have to approve them.

I've been posting in this RPG from its beginnings. I find it very unjust that I'm considered unfit to handle two characters...especially when they come from my imagination. Maybe I shouldn't have been allowed two characters to start, but this RPG has been around for a while now. Mantis already has a pretty steady foundation. I don't get why I shouldn't be allowed to start one for another character.

Character Personality(Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): He is a man who doesn't fully understand himself. He grew up not too far from Lost Haven in Conway New Hampshire. It's a small ski resort town several just several hours south of the city. Although he grew up a normal kid with normal a normal family, he is anything but normal. He has amazing powers that he doesn't fully understand. While he was growing up he hated himself, he was angry at the world for making him a "freak." He wanted nothing to do with his powers, he just wanted a normal life. However, as time went on and he grew older he learned to deal with his powers, and eventually he embraced them. He believes in fighting for what is right. He believes in protecting the weak, and making sure that they are taken care of. Overall, he is a good man with great power, trying to do the right thing.

When he is not in costume fighting villains or trying to stop general catastrophe he is a recent college graduate who is working as a history teacher, who at 25 years of age (he took alittle time off from school) is one of the younger teachers at Sherman High School, in Lost Haven which also makes him one of the more popular teachers in the school.

Origin Info/Details: Scott Morse may seem like a normal guy, but he is anything but. Everything about him is a lie, his parents, his older brother as well as his younger sister. None of it is real. Although they raised him as their son, he isn't. In fact, he isn't even really human. Scott was the result of a secret experiment by an even more secret government agency that mixed alien DNA with that of a human. While he was a baby; he was cared for by a woman named Barbara Hill, who was a member of the top secret government agency known as the SHTTF (Superhuman Threat Task Force). What the objective of this experiment was is unknown. While going about her daily tasks at the project, Dr. Hill learned that the program had been terminated, all evidence was to be destroyed, and the baby known only then as SKT-17 (she affectionately called him "Scott") was to be eliminated. Having recently lost her own child due to the actions of a drunk driver who also claimed the life of Dr. Hill's husband, she could not stand the thought of this child who she began to see as her own, could be killed. She stole the child from the laboratory which created him, and fled to the north. She gave the child to a trusted friend, Jacob Morse and his young bride Elizabeth. Soon after, Dr. Hill was tracked down by agents of the SHTTF and killed. Jacob and Elizabeth took the young baby, and continued calling him Scott as they felt that there would be no need to change his name, seeings as that is what Dr. Hill had called him his whole life.

I like that idea. Kinda like Ult. Marvel's 3rd character rule. I personally don't want the season to end so early since I have alot I want to do with BL before the season ends.

Could you describe personality a little better please, and just a piece of advice, pute the dialogue in sperate lines and colours, and keep the capitalisation accurate.

I don't understand how that is possible. From my understanding he creates and manipulates asteroids. :confused:

Him being a space hero like GL has adventures in space makes much more sense. What asteroids are on Earth to manipulate? And how the heck can you create an asteroid? That makes no sense and I'm sorry if I'm coming across as a dick...but he flat out told someone his hero would school him and I'm trying to comprehend how. And I'm sorry again, but if you pull an asteroid from the stars down to Earth? You are essentially causing more harm than the super villain you are trying to stop. :dry:

I don't see why he isn't just a rock manipulator dude like Terra in DC. That would make more sense since apparently he isn't a space hero.

Spirit of America popped into the area...hope you don't mind. He's an enhanced human, but after having read your post, you should be able to hang with him. Especially with your character not caring if his host lives or dies once he gets enough dead bodies.

Spirit has enhanced strength speed and agility and a healing factor-but not crazy like Wolverine's or Hulks. To heal will slow him down and take time, and he's pretty confident right now, so the overconfidence will get to him.

I'm thinking of bunnying him to fight A-Man but A-Man finds out what Killer Cristo's (Monty Gem's alter ego) actual motive is. However, during the enemy stage Gem creates a crystal that can beat A-Man. (Sort of like superman except the crystal has it's whole other story to it.)

2. Emperor Cobra (presumed dead but I will re-introduce him for A-Man to fight)

Or at least the material they are made of. In the comics, the first ones he made were on fire, later on he could control the heat. They were essentially burning rocks made from the same material as asteroids so he called himself asteroid-man and made these asteroid-like rocks. Sort of like Spider-Man. He doesn't actually shoot out webs, if anything they are just strands of wire or strands of webbing.

A comic book I write. Just that I've only done "the Origins" arc. In this RPG I made it right after the Origins arc. Killer Kristo was even a hero (you think he's a villain now, it's complicated). There was also a bunch of heroes I dropped but the ones I'm still sticking with are:


Asteroid-Man (as well as Comet and Lunar who die in the Origins arc)
The Sash (and his partner Phoenix, this takes place in the 60's and Phoenix from these comics ends up being the same Phoenix I mentioned in some of my IC posts)
El Diable
Radman and Coolcat (I've done one issue. The names are temporary)
Wako (this is awesome, it takes place in a cartoony jungle world where the evil Mole-Mal (a mole with jeans, glasses and a drill-nose) causes mayhem and is thwarted by Wako the monkey with dreadlocks. Wako is the only character in these comics that can't talk. My inspiration for this one was Crash Bandicoot.)
The Archer (think Robin Hood Not Green Arrow) This guy's equipment is ALL old fashioned. His partner the Acrobat (think Robin), and Louis Bucket. This comic takes place in the 13 century
The Basher Brothers (Two intergalactic heroes, the name is only temporary)
Sinister (He moves threw the shadows and feeds off of shadows (think spawn) If he gets enough energy from darkness, he can fly, shoot energy blasts, become indestructible, super strong, super fast, invisible etc)

You've been insulting my creativity on the character as well as his powers. You've attempted to use science and stating how asteroids are like dwarf planets :whatever: Trust me, I study astronomy. You are very wrong. I know what I posted isn't exactly possible but it's a comic world.

He was trying to get out of there. And that was right after watching two of his friends get killed. He was emotionally distressed. Not all heroes are the boy scout.

No matter what spin you put on it, or how vaguely you tell the tale, there's no way your character's actions would've led to anything except a lot more bloodshed, unless he went around annihilating any military force in his way, which again, was even alluded to in the very first post. There's no reason why A-man is any more a hero than he is a villain.

Unfortunately, he has become somewhat jaded having watched his loved ones pass away as he lived on, and so he has chosen to distance himself from humanity in that sense.

Origin Info/Details: Divinity began his existence in the year 1267, born Godfrey de Payens to a world disrupted by religion. Developing into a devout Catholic, he became a loyal member of the legendary Knights Templar at a young age. However, during the purge of these warriors at the order of King Philip IV of France, he betrayed the organisation in order to save his own life, resulting in the deaths of his entire battalion. Guilt-ridden, his conscience driving him insane, he confessed his crime to a sub-head of the crumbling order - known only as Dumas. Not a martyr, but a warning: respect the law of the King, or pay the ultimate price.
