Aside from Liv Tyler (I just don't see her as a scientist) I don't see anything wrong with the rest of the cast. I wish Sam Elliott would return as General Thunderbolt Ross though. Has GTBR's character been cast yet?

Norton, Tyler, Roth (NTR) easily.

The cast are more than capable actors and seem more suited to the role, I mean come on, Bana as Banner??? I could never really buy that but what ever, a new cast is here and we just have to deal. I have faith in NTR to help deliever a better hulk movie than what Ang gave us.

I'm just not a big Norton fan & I would prefer Connelly any day over Tyler. But I also don't want as many connections to Ang Lee's film so I'm prepared to deal with it. My big hope would be to get a CB origin flashback in Hulk 3 with Rick Jones.

My breakdown:

Norton > Bana
Tyler = Connelly
Roth > Nolte

Leterrier > Lee
New CGI Hulk > Old CGI Hulk (yes, without even seeing the final design)

the only problem i have with the new cast so far is no Sam Elliot. no one else could play the role. Sam would make a good replacement Jameson too lol

Allthough I like Bana as an actor....I see Norton more as Banner than him. I think Tyler will make a decent replacement for Connelly (especially since one of the last pics I saw of her, she had lost a lot of weight and just didn'tlook the same). I too would love to see Elliot return as General Ross.

I just found out about Tyler playing Betty, that is so cool, this cast is awesome. Liv is so much better than Jennifer, Jen was just to annoying, and dry, I don't think she's all that good looking either, there's just something about her I don't like.

But, I love Liv.

Norton as Banner is genious, and Roth as Emil is just great! I can't wait to see them all in action.

Yeah, I really can't see anyone doing better than Sam Elliot as T-Bolt.
Everyone else seems replaceable to me.
As far as which cast is better.. I really need to wait and see. Though Norton as Banner is a no-brainer. That is as perfect as Elliot's casting. And no doubt he will deliver the goods beyond our expectations.
Roth is such a crazy, interesting choice, I can't wait to see what he does and how sick he intends to make Blonskey.
Tyler..meh. She is an acceptable replacement for Connelly. I love Connelly but she was rather dry admittedly.
Ang's movie gets slammed as an arthouse movie (which is't a bad thing IMO), but guys...look at this cast. TIH has an arthouse if there ever was one.

In concept mainly, Norton is a much more inspired choice to play Banner than Bana was IMHO. I hope he plays him more as the puny Banner, scientist nerdy type over Bana's gravelly Hugh Jackman-lite version of Banner.

Tyler as Betty? We'll see. I didn't find Connelly's performance all that compelling.

Honestly, I'd have to watch Norton, Roth, and Tyler, before actually judging...Though, I do agree that Norton is a much more inspired casting choice for Banner. I'm looking forward to his performance, and see him bringing a lot of justice to the character, with what's been described so far. Especially when it'll come down to both he and Roth face to face on screen. Roth, IMO, is the perfect choice for Blonsky. So looking forward to that as well.

Tyler as Betty...She may be a good replacement for Connelly. We'll see.
