Facebook FTW. My Space is for teenage girls who like decorating their pages with sparkling gifs and Fall Out Boy music.
There's a guy in my office who looks JUST LIKE Tom. It's actually kinda creepy.

Actually there seem to be quite a few older folks (ie: 30s and up) setting up MySpace pages these days. Since Facebook was originally intended for students only, I wouldn't feel right going there since I'm an old Gen-X fart. :(

I've gotten pissed at myspace like everyone else, but overall its a good site. It's a good way to not only keep in touch with friends but reconnect with friends you had lost contact with over the years.
Plus, myspace may have started as a spam s--t but they are so frickin' rich now that they probably don't even care anymore.

I joined Myspace just because I have several friends who are only reachable through that damned site. They don't answer email. They're never near their phones. But....they read their Myspace messages religiously. I don't get it, personally, but it has helped me keep in touch with them.

The 1st thing I did when I signed up for MySpace was delete Tom from my 'friends' list. I had no friends then. :(

Same here. I had a buddy of mine gets miffed at me because I hadn't checked my myspace and responded to whatever he posted to me. At the time, it had been two weeks or so since I had last logged on.
"When'd you send it?"

That's when those people are no longer friends, when they'll only communicate with you through a website.

Nahhh. They've been friends of mine a long time and they're all out of the same social circle. Most of them live in the same town and they pretty much communicate with each other through Myspace as well and get together every now and again. It's an odd phenomenon to me. If they did it just to me, I'd be worried, but they do it with pretty much everyone they know. Like I said....I don't get it.

Yeah, my friends wife is like that. She forced me into doing a MySpace, so she could have more friends then her other friend at work. So, now that's one more thing I have to check daily, just in case she sends me one of those annoying glittery messages. So when she ask me about or if something I have to respond to, I know what the hell she's talking about and I can respond. I swear to God she's more demanding then my wife. Lucky for her, she's married to a great friend or I might have take her out. :ninja:
So do not get the MySpace craze.

Holy crap after watching that I've figured it out, MySpace is Skynet! On August 29, 2007 MySpace will become self aware and launch it's missles at strategic in Russia!
