Terrific win by the Lakers, and Kobe shown just how dangerous he can be with his stellar performance. With Gasol, Kobe can occasionally take night off (and vise versa). With teams as deep as they are in the playoff (probably the deepest ever), the Lakers will have to bring their A game in every game.

Yes, I am happy Dallas won and turned this into a series. And just think all the detractors thought Dallas was done and would be swept. Let's face it, this series is far from over and Dallas still has a lot of work to do.

I'm sure they're happy with this win but the pressure is still on. The team cannot afford to be down 3-1 either, so it's time for them to continue to buckle down on defense, take better shots, and play smart in general. Great win and I hope this carries over into the next meeting.

Well I think a lot of it may have to do with the way I acted in 2006. I truly felt and still believe that Dallas was robbed due to poor officiating, however, my stance regarding that series is nowhere near as harsh, passionate, and immature as it was at that point and time.

I also feel a lot of it has to do with the fact that Dallas and their fanbase has always been ridiculed. We're a passionate fanbase and I think a lot of our desires to be recognized rubs people the wrong way, and Cuban saying the things he does, doing the things he does, and so forth tends to paint us in a bad light as well.

But honestly, anytime the Mavs are mentioned in this thread it's either ignored or ridiculed. And I'm curious as to why? Why do so many posters have an issue with Dallas fans? Why do they hate Dallas so much? I'm just curious because I've never seen a group of basketball fans hate a team so much as they hate Dallas.

Give credit where credit is due. Yeah, Dallas hasn't won a championship and when they got there they failed to overcome the obstacle. But they're a good team who play their hardest and aren't a bunch of drama queens.

I wasnt suprised by this loss just like I wasnt suprised by Game 2's win.

I told you in the reg season, I saw problems with the team and already concluded there not gonna win this series. Break em up, there time is done. Only Tay and the zoo crew bench stay. Everyone else (even Flip) is done.

For me, I was more taking back by the Pistons loss. I don't think the Sixers will win the series, but I do think they have expose the Pistons defense and shooting woes, which both appear to be on the downside... maybe because of age and the long seasonal runs deep into the playoffs over the last 4 or 5 years, beginning to wear on them. I could care less about the Eastern Conference; however I was looking forward to a great Pistons/Celtics Eastern Finals... I beginning that Final wont be so great now, but more one-sided towards the Celtics.

I still have hope for a "Throw-Back NBA Finals" with the Celtics/Lakers. :D

I don't think the Sixers will win the series, but I do think they have expose the Pistons defense and shooting woes, which both appear to be on the downside... maybe because of age and the long seasonal runs deep into the playoffs over the last 4 or 5 years, beginning to wear on them. I could care less about the Eastern Conference; however I was looking forward to a great Pistons/Celtics Eastern Finals... I beginning that Final wont be so great now, but more one-sided towards the Celtics.

Points will get shaken up tomorrow if someone picked Orlando in 5 and Los Angeles in 4. You get 3 points if you pick the correct winner of the series in that number of games(you can have games wrong to get these points). You'll also recieve 5 points instead of 3 if you pick the series correctly(that means every game right).
