It occurred to me that Iron Man seems to be turning into a pale imitation of Adrian Veidt from Watchmen.

I luv that!!:woot: :woot:
People should follow IM to actually have an opinion on his actions as of late.
Coz he has some good reasons for it and the MU is better of for it. Imagine if we actually had this initiative thing all the worlds problems could be solved quickly and so long as Stark stays in his position the wrong people wont be able to exploit the situation, which is one of his fears.
People need to understand that Stark's mind is now 100 years beyond any mere mortal and is a visionary who can forge a better tomorrow. Yes I am refering to extremis instead of moaning about the stories try thinking of the impact it's made so far.

That's why I was pro-registration. Even if Marvel tried to make that side look all "evil"... And don't say they didn't.
Look, I can't go around and shoot people I deem "evil" and say it's my right to do so just because I have a gun. Vigilante justice is not really allowed.
So why should it be any different for Super Heroes? They can't go around enforcing their own version of the law because they somehow acquired powers and expect the governments of the world NOT to want to try to reign them in.
Your right and I wont deny they didn't make them look evil.

I think Iron man has some good points about protecting the general public and all the registration and civil war stuff definilty adds for a good story.
