Yeah but the Bruins have looked down right awful for basically the last two months, and i think how you play coming in to the playoffs has a BIG impact on how well you do during them.

History shows that how you enter the playoffs (hot or cold) means nothing in relation to how you do. I read a part of a book that built a case for this which was quite convincing, showing teams that entered on 10 game win streaks that went out in the first round, and teams that lost 7 or 8 heading in that won the cup kind of thing.

Not to mention the Bruins will be getting Savard and Bergeron back in the series -- not sure if it'll be in Game 1 or not.

Don't be so sure. There's always one upset occuring in the first round. Anything can happen....
That is true but I think that the only 'upset' that would shock me would be Nashville over Detroit. The 4 seed verse the 5 seed can never be considered an upset. I wouldn't be surprised if either of the 6 seeds beat the 3 seeds. Calgary or Ottawa upsetting would not be a big shocker either. And seriously, would anyone be surprised if Montreal lost to Boston? I wouldn't.

Well, I don't know why I waited so long, but congratulations to slinger for winning this year's SHHFHL title...

I know it was a tough year for him, finishing as low as he did in the standings, but he always brought his A game every week and is a well-deserving Champion this year.

I should have met you in the Finals, but just like in 2004, I got f&^%#$^%cked over by 20 minutes of Khabibulin on the last day of my playoff week loss.

:csad:

Congrats... :word:  :word:

:yay:

Brunnstrom to Dallas.....I hope he actually makes an impact and isn't another Miettinen.
