Never saw the tattooed gimmick, though I thought Superhuman Samurai was a solidly-built little series despite the MMPR similarities. It sort of ticks me off to learn how much MMPR ripped off of Zyuranger. I always knew it drew inspiration from it, but that Green Ranger clip was a copy-paste. There goes a vapid notion I used to have of the actors doing it themselves. Of the two, the Super Sentai original seems the better. Though, I can't complain- if not for the original Power Rangers, most of us wouldn't even know what Super Sentai is.
And yes, Tommy was so overrated after we found out the identity of the Green Ranger. He was cool as the rogue element, but the Red Ranger was always the leader of the group in my mind.

No love for Billy?
Billy and Trini were the two lamest Rangers! :o
You mean the big mystery of the White Ranger which was the talk of playgrounds in elementary school lunchrooms.:o
I liked how they kept throwing in red herrings like Tommy's brother, Zacks cousin, etc.
I feel bad for you kids. It was so obvious to us older kids that it was gonna be Tommy. I mean...they show Tommy chillin' at the beach and then they morph him out of there. Afterwards we see Billy breaking into the "secret" section of the command center and getting a glimpse of the White Ranger. lol.
They did a MUCH BETTER JOB with the Gold Ranger. Now, with him we had no idea who it was. Then again...how could we? He was a new character. Trey, I believe, was his name. I liked how they kept tricking us. First they make us think its Billy cause he kept disappearing. Then, they make us think its Tommy's brother. And, there was probably a couple of others as well.

I didn't see PRiS when it first aired. I stopped during Turbo. The only reason I saw it in recent repeats was cause everyone says its the best. I disagree. Its good but not the best. Actually for those of you who still watch Power Rangers, there will be another team up this year in order to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Power Rangers (Operation Overdrive= Kind of the reincarnation of Turbo).
The episode comes out on July 23rd on Jetix if I'm not mistaken.
It will have Adam from Mighty Morphin (the replacement of Zach), Kira from Dino Thunder (one of my favorite rangers), Xander from Mystic Force, Tori from Ninja Storm, and Bridge from SPD
More than likely the one that everyone will know is Adam since the others came after Wild Force, when the Power Rangers company started to film in New Zealand.

*sigh*...Why do they have to make a sequel in the first place?
At least it is a Choose Your Own Adventure thing (Like Final Destination 3 was on DVD) Except maybe even better.
http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/8679
Joel Silver, the producer behind "The Matrix" series, has forged a deal with Warner's new Premiere unit to make 10 direct-to-DVD movies over the next three years, for instance. His first project, a sequel to the 1999 horror movie "House on Haunted Hill," will give viewers the option to pick different story lines and four alternative endings."
Seriously, they need to start making DVDs of all these great shows.
I'm talking, continue to make Boy Meets World DVDs, start making Power Rangers, start making All That (back when Kenan and Kel were on)!
How else are future generations going to remember this?
I would at least rent those on dvd if they came out, if not buy them.

Code Lyoko, Class of 3000, Camp Lazlo and Storm Hawks are all wastes of time (Code Lyoko has horrid animation and Storm Hawks rips completely off of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children). Once upon a time CN actually had imagination outside of Adult Swim, and Toonami was packing anime into the afternoons. No more. I haven't seen Nickelodeon in some time. The last shows there that truly interested me were Hey Arnold and Catdog. I imagine it's gotten infinitely worse since then.

My old roomates ex was addicted to that show.
I would be playing Tony Hawk Underground, on the big screen tv, and she would come back from wherever she went and split the screen and turn on spongebob and switch the audio over to her show, do you have any idea how hard tony hawk is when you hear spongebob, it drove me nuts I had to quit playing.
