Sorry if there is already a thread on this, but does anyone think that Megatron will return for the Transformers sequel?

Megatron will be back, the question is for the secont film or third film?
In the first five minutes of TF2, show Megatron's body drifting down, being crushed and so on as predicted, and then drifting into the open hold of a strange alien ship crashed at the bottom of the Ocean. The ARK. It should/will automatically revive Megatron, reunite him with, say, the Constructicons, and set him up for the location of some Energon to fuel the ship and enslave the humans the old fashioned way.
There you go. Ten minutes in and you've got Galvatron. Lets make a movie. Autobots rain from the sky, Starscream comes back with Soundwave and maybe Astrorain or Jhiaxis or whatever. Throw in some new human plotlines... booyah.
But brining Megatron back is easy as pie.

Let him be Megatron though...keep Galvatron out of it at least for part two. I mean Megatron was hardly in part one

Does he even need to be called Galvatron? I never understood the name change in the cartoon anyway. So he got juiced up and a new look. I don't use a different name once I get a new haircut and different clothes.

YES .
He'll be back of course. Not Galvatron yet though.
Have him in a vehicle though. Believe it or not I really liked the Armada look of Megatron, just make sure he's not a jet.

He WILL be back!!! I don't think they will pull a Galvatron YET, unless they go with the Unicron storyline

don't you mean the Nemesis?
I thought about using the Nemesis instead, since it's Decepticon related, however, having Cybertronians lie dormant in an Ark rather than a Nemesis just makes more sense, even if the ship was origionally an Autobot ship... I'd rather have a backstory about how the Ark fell into Decepticon hands than use the Nemesis to be, by definition, an ark.

Oh hell no. This isnt LotR. We dont need dead robots coming back to life. Bring on Soundwave and Starscream as potential villains for TF2.

So, say that Megatron does in fact return. Does anyone think that he will remain in his Cybertronian form (as Megatron or even... Galvatron), or do you think that he will obtain an Alternate Earth Form?

He will probably get a new form. i just thought of something. When Mikaela chopped up Frenzy, he was smalled and had less of his body so he transformed into a cell phone, maybe megatron will somehow survive and take a differenet earth form to revive his body since he lost an arm and leg. I don't know he will probably stay the same
But if he gets a new form, most likely he will get a jet or tank earth form.

I hope that he does take a new form. I loved the movie design, but I like change and would love to see him take on something new and a little more "human" if that makes sense, lol.
He better get an Earth form. I wasn't a big fan of his Cybertronian form.

I say third that way there can be a whole movie were Starscream can rule and get more powerful so Mega can some back in the last movie and kill Starscream and get all his power or something.

I remember that...in Beast Machines...he took almost the entire season to recover his body and become the strongest.
it could happen in Trasformers 2, you know? he being build and reconstructed by someone or some new decepticon and...in the last scene...show his new and powerful body, preparing for the decisive war, which could take place in Transformers 3.
