I have every Transformer from the movie series I want except the Target exclusive Robovision Optimus Prime. I can't seem to find him anywhere at all. I already have someone who works at Target looking for him but I thought I'd put it out here to cover more ground. If anyone ever sees one, please pick it up and notify me either here or via PM.

I saw a kid begging his mom to buy him Leader class megatron, I felt compelled to intervene but there are some things a child must learn on his own.

Didn't see anything yesterday. What's up with those weird nightlight things though?

A guy on Amazon is selling one for $37. I'm thinking of buying it since I'll likely be paying around that price for someone here to get it. Plus he ships from a town in PA that is only like 2-3 hrs away from me. I don't know if I should get it now or wait until stores become more stocked since the summer is usually quiet. I want to buy it but I can't help thinking I will see it in stores. Hasbro would have to be stupid to not have the most famous transformer in stores during the movie's theater run.

Just buy it.
Note* If others haven't told you yet. Target.com has a sweet way of locating items in the stores closest to your zipcode. "Limited Availability" 80% of the times means they're out, but "Available" 100% of the time means they have it in stock. Usually, 7+ of the same item in store will warrant that response.
If that doesn't work, then ebay/amazon, because that would be the only way I would sell stuff to another forum user.

I saw that on the website but just assumed they'd show store locations.
EDIT: I checked. A couple are "Limited Availability" but the rest are "Out of Stock".

I fell for you man, I can't find Leader Optimus Prime anywhere these days. I should have grabbed him when I had the chance. :(
I'm just glad I snatched up two more Leader Megatrons while they were in stock. There were only four in stock at the time, and the last two have been long gone for a while.

It's so perplexing as to why Hasbro has the 2 main transformers in such a limited stock. Bumblebee and Prime got the most screen time but I've only seen 1 of each Bumblebee (bought both) and 1 Leader Prime weeks ago.

Did anyone notice the pics of Robovision-prime on the target website has the regular blue instead of the normal light blue?? If he is like that then I would have picked him up along time ago!! Maybe its just a single prop-prime.

Robo Vision is sweet, I have 2 of him, and the blue, is the blue you see on the site and in the movie.
The best part is the "grey" robotic parts of the toy, are actually "supermetal" which is a shinier grey that gives it a more metallic look. For $20 and if you want to Limited Edition toy that is selling for $35+ on eBay, get a robovision while you can.
..or you can get the clunky $40 mess of a toy. Or both. If you're spoiled.

he's not an exclusive so a bit easier to find. You could just go Target's website and have them shipped to your house for a like $5-10 for the bunch and obviously make the money back if you mod them.

Good news. I posted a thread on Seibertron (good TF site) asking for one. I said I dont have anything to trade but I can buy it and a guy PM'd me he has a Target one so there's a shot I can get him.

have you tried ebay? it's a pretty reliable service as long as you adhere to the rules and make sure you are buying from a seller w/ good feedback.
I've seen them going for about $35, so you might be able to get it for better than that.

I've looked and have not seen one better than $35. The shipping costs make it over $40 which is too much.

I got one off ebay for about $37. I was willing to go as high as $35 with the guy on Seibertron but I figure I'll spend $2 more and have the safety of paypal and ebay if something goes wrong. I was going to wait since Target would probably restock soon but there's no guarantee I'll find him in the store. If I do I'll get him and sell him on eBay.
