Xbox Live connection problem - HELP!

Okay, when I boot-up the good ole' 360, it won't connect to Live at all.

I do a test connection prompt on it, and everything passes, that is, until the Xbox Live test fails.

It says it cannot connect to Xbox Live itself. Any ideas on what to do? I'm stumped.
