Sources tells us Brit has buried the hatchet and wants to re-hire former manager, Larry Rudolph, the guy who was the mastermind behind her blazing career. Brit wanted to tar and feather Rudolph before she 86'd him last year, blaming him in part for what she felt was a bogus stint at the Promises rehab joint.

We're told nothing has been finalized, but Brit now wants him back. She can't hire and fire herself, but we're told the conservators probably will do what Brit wants, partly because they realize the conservatorship won't last forever and when it's over they don't want Brit to undo all the decisions.

Larry Rudolph is finally speaking out about his renewal of vows with Britney Spears.

In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn’t seen Britney in more than a year–until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever.
He said,

"After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn’t talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she’s doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she’s in a great place right now."

As far as Britney’s comeback goes, he said,

"People love her. They really love her. People understand what she’s been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she’ll get it together. And I think she’ll have a huge career again. I think she’s going to make the biggest comeback in history."

Neil Patrick Harris thinks that guest-stars like Britney Spears should be banned from the set of “How I Met Your Mother.” Nothing against Brit personally, he just upholds some belief that the show should not bring guests on board merely for the sake of increased ratings.

"I’m in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed. I worry that if they start `Will and Grace’-ing us too much, that the show will suffer. Sam Lutfi says he is on Britney Spears' side as he fights against an extension of a restraining order from her family.

"Sam and the family are communicating and cooperating trying to do whats best for Britney," Lutfi's spokesman, Michael Sands, said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.

In fact, Lutfi agreed to stay away from the singer through July.

At the family's request, Judge Aviva Bobb extended the restraining order until July 31.

Lawyers were in attendance but neither Lutfi nor a member of the Spears family appeared at court.

Lutfi has been forbidden from going within 250 yards of Spears and her home since February.

In a six-page declaration released in February, Lynne Spears accused Lutfi of grinding up Risperdal, a sleeping medication, and Seroquel, an anti-psychotic drug prescribed to treat bipolar disorder, and giving them to Britney.

Lutfi himself admitted in an Us Weekly cover story that he had given Britney "a handful of pills" to help her sleep. Britney, Lutfi told Us, agreed that the meds were helping her sleep.

Spears, meanwhile, returned to the recording studio this week with former manager Larry Rudolph.

Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan has addressed the press, where he's confirmed what we reported earlier, Britney will get more time with the kids!

"This represents a step moving forward ... Obviously it's something more than it has been and it's a step in the right direction. The order that was in place has remained in place, with the exception that there has been some graduated expansion of time. Other than that, nothing has been changed with the order," Kaplan told the press.

Talk about a clash of the titans - it's being reported that label execs are planning to pit Britney Spears' latest album against Whitney Houston's later this year!

The Sun reveals that, after bowling her label over with demos of her newest material, plans are in the works to release Brit's as-yet-untitled follow-up to Blackout during the crucial Christmas shopping season - in direct competition to Whitney's forthcoming LP.

"Britney has been on fire in the studio of late," one label spy told the paper. "She is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Top brass have been amazed by the quality of tracks they've heard."

According to the agreement, reportedly signed by all parties, Federline retains sole custody of the couple's two sons, Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2. Spears – who's currently allowed two visits and one overnight per week – will keep her visitation rights.

"The case has been settled," Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told E! Online. "The court still has to approve it."

Both parties are due in court Friday.

The legal saga, which began with shared 50-50 custody in July 2007, culminated in the most dramatic of public downfalls: Spears – the pop powerhouse worth an estimated $100 million – was twice forcibly hospitalized early this year for mental health issues. However, a judge can always modify custody settlements – and a source close to Spears tells PEOPLE the singer will likely get increased visitation as time goes on.

She is 100% not performing, Larry assured us, but she will be attending and opening the show.
Well, we think it's wise that Spears wait until she's 110% ready to perform and make a killer comeback.

It does seem like Britney has found a sound she likes doing. The last three albums by her have been getting more and more progressively about a pop/hip hop/r&b mix. Womanizer sounds like it'd be right at home on In the Zone and Blackout.

Britney's coming out with another new perfume.

The perfume is a cherry-themed spinoff of the original perfume simply called "Fantasy," according to BreatheHeavy.com. "The bottle of Hidden Fantasy is similar as the previous two, the only difference is the color red," the source reveals. "The perfume has a cherry scent with a hint of vanilla."

Britney apparently shot promos for the new fragrance during her stay in New York City last week!

The fragrance is set to be released in December and will coincide with Britney's album launch for "Circus."

Britney Spears is one step closer to going on tour.

While the comeback pop princess revealed last month she was planning on hitting the road next year, a source now tells me that things are getting serious. Spears just signed a deal with the megahuge live entertainment company AEG to produce the whole shebang, my source says.

No word on when an official announcement will be made or when tickets will go on sale, but Spears revealed during an interview with New York radio station Z100 in late September that she's hoping for a worldwide tour, not something limited just to the United States.


Reps for Spears did not return calls or emails.

Wade Robson styled Spears early steps to pop culture fame, but told Confidential yesterday he will reunite with the singer as she prepares to climb her way back up the charts.

But not before Robson returns to share his skills with Sydney dancers, at classes next month.
