Everybody remembers their first time. Whether it's your first time at The Con or eating out of a dumpster, first time experiences are always memorable. Saying that, the Lionsgate panel started out like the first time I had sex: with a line around the block. Inside Hall H, loads of young teenage boys and girls were waiting in anticipation for the stars of the first flick to be previewed, which were Jessica Alba and Dane Cook for GOOD LUCK CHUCK.

Clips: The first clip shown involved Jessica Alba and Dane Cook in seperate bathtubs, talking to each other on the phone. Because they can't have sex, Jessica starts in on the ol' phone sex talk, with Dane Cook pretending not to care (a feat in itself). The clip ends when Jessica asks Dane if he can view pictures on his phone, and then proceeds to send a picture of her naughty bits. No, we didn't get a chance to see the pic she sent either. Bah. The clip really didn't do much but make all of the males in the crowd shift around in their seats due to the sudsy, bubble clad Jessica Alba. And I'm sure that's the intention. The next clip we were shown was just a small montage of all the physical gags in the flick. A slip here, a fall there.

Nothing amazing, unless you've really been wanting to see Jessica Alba walk into a pole. Har har. Overall, the clips and trailer that were shown were pretty standard romantic comedy fair, nothing spectacular. Jessica Alba and Dane Cook seem to have good on and off screen chemistry, which bugs me to no end. Here's some other ****e about the flick that I learned:
In the movie, there's a montage of Dane Cook banging up to 30 women.
Jessica Alba chipped her front tooth during a kissing scene with Dane Cook.
Director reshot Jessica Alba walking into a pole over 30 times.
Jessica Alba talked about her new horror movie THE EYE, in which she plays a blind violinist.
The film was shot in 35 days.

She talked a little bit about the French directors (David Moreau and Xavier Palud) and how this film differs from their first feature film, THEM, which is slated for theatrical release this August. "The French directors are amazing, it's really going to take the horror genre to another level" she tells B-D, "THE EYE has lots of blood, lots of gore, insanity, ghosts and its painful because you're going through the entire experience with this girl... you feel her anxiety from beginning to end." She elaborates, "The film is put in first person perspective to really feel the anxiety and what the characters feel. Ours (The Eye) is a lot more suttle and psychological."

So things are going fine and dandy when the hilariously unfunny Dane Cook interrupts, "I'm a huge Fangor collector, I have the first 100 Fangor magazines," he continues, "I was in Mr. Brooks." I swear to God he said Fangor and I'm not quite sure if he was trying to be funny or was just lying - either way, thanks for wasting what little time I had with the astounding Jessica Alba.

Annnyyyways, I was able to squeeze one last question in by the time Dane Cook was done yapping about MR. BROOKS - I need to know, is the infamous elevator scene in THE EYE remake? Alba gives me the sexiest of sly smiles and says “You’ll have to see it,“ to which I responded “That’s a yes”… then she was pulled out of my life forever. I'll miss you Jessica.

In THE EYE Alba plays Sydney, a young, blind violinist is given the chance to see for the first time since childhood through a miraculous corneal transplant. As Sydney adjusts to a dizzying new world of colors and shapes, she is haunted by frightening visions of death itself capturing the doomed and dragging them away from the world of the living. Very wise words, fans that say they "love" an actor are a dime a dozen to these actors....they hear it all the time....the people that read their fan mail read it in 100's of letters. They have a close group of people that "they know" and that "know them"....those are the people they trust, understand, and roll with on a daily basis. We are simply fans, important? yes....but still just fans. Thinking you would be anymore than that is silly. These friends they have (in her case anyway) are predominantly family that she has known all of her life, and the others, she has known for quite awhile.

I tend feel the way her friends do.....I think her and Cash will get through this, they will work it out after a much needed separation time to think...her working in Vancouver for the next couple of weeks is a good thing. I think they'll work through it, get back together, and in the future marry. If not, then it will be someone probably very similar to him....I just hope that whoever she is with she is happy. I think she's happy with Cash despite this fight that they've had. Hell, people who love each other have intense fights quite often. So she'll move on from this little bit of press on her personal life. Learn from it, and become even more secretive about her personal life. I doubt we will hear very little of that part of her life after this.

Yes, Jessica Alba’s first supernatural movie is doing two weeks (or more) worth of additional shoots. And what’s controversial about it is that the movie’s original
French directors (David Moreau and Xavier Palud) won’t be coming back to direct our favorite actress. According to a source, the reshoots’ new director will be
Patrick Lussier, a longtime film editor who directed “Dracula 2000? and its scary sequels. Explanation was not given why the French directors won’t return.
Jessica, who plays a blind violinist who regains her sight after surgery in the horror movie, will start filming in Vancouver this August 9. And then there will be straight
twelve or fourteen days of shooting. The reshoots does not appear to be making any drastic changes to the movie; most likely there will just be a few additional short
scenes to intensify the paranormal features of the plot. Oooh, scary! Can’t wait to watch this one! But February 2008 is still a long way off, which is the expected day
for The Eye to open. Still, it’s worth the wait. It’s Jessica’s first horror movie after all
