PARTY princess Paris Hilton is $60 million out of pocket after her billionaire grandfather - appalled by her jail term for drink-driving offences - axed her inheritance.

Family patriarch Barron Hilton was already embarrassed by his granddaughter's wild behaviour - notably when her home sex video was leaked on the internet.

But the 79-year-old considered her 23-day sentence last month the last straw.

"He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris," says Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote a biography of the clan called House Of Hilton.

"He now doesn't want to leave unearned wealth to his family."

Hilton senior, the only member of the family left with a sizeable stake in the huge hotel chain, has let it be known that he intends to donate to charity the $2.4bn he will gain from this month's sale of the company to private equity firm Blackstone.

The money will go to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the charity set up in the name of the founder of the family business.

"The show is going to be about her searching for a new best friend," a source tells Usmagazine.com. "Paris is tired of the haters and she's looking for someone new. She's looking for someone new and cool who she can trust."

The untitled project – expected to be picked up by either MTV or VH1 – will be her second foray in reality television. Hilton's The Simple Life, costarring pal Nicole Richie, aired from 2003 to 2007.

The new show is "going to be full of good chick drama and you will see a side of Paris not seen on Simple Life," the source tells Us.

Socialite Paris Hilton has defended herself against criticism of her extensive pet collection, insisting she only owns 17 dogs because they keep breeding. The Simple Life star is currently at the centre of a new Los Angeles Department of Animal Services investigation after recently boasting about her pooches on Ellen DeGeneres' TV talk show. But Hilton claims her brood keeps growing because she doesn't want to separate newborn pups from their parents. She says, "They keep having babies and I feel bad to give them away because I feel like, if I had a baby and someone gave it away it would be mean."

Oh my God, can someone in Paris' Family intervene here and tell her to get her damn dogs spade & neutered?! God, what a dumb b**** she is!! If you don't want thousands of puppies, go see the vet and set up the operations. It's not like she can't afford it. She needs to be slapped with an animal cruelty charge and have those dogs taken away from her to be placed in homes of responsible people.

Why can't people see that this creature is box office suicide? She hasn't had not one successful film yet.....................but it's sad to say someone will watch her show. I don't see why though. :huh:
