The Dragon and the Iron Man

I'm new to Iron Man, my curiosity having beeen piqued by the Comicon footage, specifically the gold and red outfit, Mark III Armor (i think). Anyway, I noticed Marvel has a dragon rogue Fing Fang Foom. Are there any Iron Man GN/TBP that feature the dragon as an adversary to Iron Man?

If not, what GN/TBP would one recommend to get this newbie started? :yay:

You're in luck! The director of the upcoming Iron Man film, Jon Favreau, is actually writing an Iron Man comic book limited series with a dragon as the villain! It will not be in continuity with the movie or the regular comics, but will still be a great story inspired from both. It's going to be called Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas. It's expected to come out some time with the movie in 2008.

"The plot concerns an ancient artifact that’s unearthed by archaeologist Elsa Bloodstone, a carving of a massive golden dragon," explained the editor. "This dragon sculpture is going to be used as the centerpiece display at a new casino that’s opening in Las Vegas, which is also hosting a retrospective on the inventions and works of Tony’s father, Howard Stark. And from there, events rapidly spiral out of control as the dragon comes to life, and Iron Man must get involved."

If you want to start reading Iron man I recommend Iron Man: Extremis which tells the modernized origin of how Tony Stark became Iron Man. If you don't want the movie spoiled for you I would skip it though because Favreau is following it heavily in the film.
