First, like someone else mentioned, he wasn't playing gay in Boat Trip, but a straight man pretending to be gay.

Second, Kevin Spacey has done more blockbuster "leading" roles. I mean, I know most of us want to forget it, but he did play Luthor in Superman Returns.

Plus I don't get the gay vibe from him. He just said that he doesn't want to talk about his personal matters. It could be him hiding his sexuality, or it could be him trying to talk about what gets him his bread and butter.

And he's not the only "gay" man who can get into big Hollywood blockbusters: Ian McKellen, anyone? Speaking of which...

I asked several people in the bar, as well as my friend who works there (who talked to the bar owner) i dunno how many gay bars or clubs you go to.. but gay bars are very social, especially with the workers and the owners... which is where my confirmation from.

What I've found is that gay guys and lesbians have the best gaydar. *** hags/fruit flies have the second best, half straight women are third, the other half along with a quarter of straight guys have the fourth best, then straight guys have the worst gaydar.

One thing that's annoying is that people think some actors are gay because they play gay characters in movies/TV (like Jake Gyllenhaal). They're actors, people. It's what they do. You might as well say Ralph Fiennes is a Nazi because he played one in "Schindler's List".
