Well...She has a point.

Well...She has a point.Exactly. Take the most-often mentioned names for example...
Lindsay Lohan; OK, she was cute as a kid in The Parent Trap, and she'd had a few mild sucesses like Mean Girls and her song "Rumors"...but what is she primarily known for nowadays? Partying, drinking, rehab, dramatic weight shifts...the word "responsible" doesn't even make it into these scenarios. Unlike some who bash celebs, I don't hate her, but I certainly don't approve of her recent behavior, either. Yet, little girls want to be her. They look up to people like her for examples on how to live. Women like Lindsay really need to start recognizing that "responsibility" isn't just a word you mention in PSAs.
Paris Hilton; she's an heir to the famous Hilton Hotel fortune, but she's more known for wild and insane things. A celebrity sex tape, jail time, reported clashes with everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Hilary Duff...these are the things the public recognizes her from. I saw part of her recent Larry King interview, and I must say I'm not sure what to think at this point, other than that kids shouldn't be holding a party-girl up as their role model.
Britney Spears; once a kid-friendly Mouseketeer for the Disney Channel, Britney's had a lot of ups and downs in the public eye. Her first album was pretty good, and her second was about on par with the first. After that, things went downhill. Her "Britney" and "In the Zone" albums got mostly-negative responses (at least from what I heard, compared to the previous works). Her relationship to singer Justin Timberlake was shattered (and Justin was partly to blame, revealing their sexual history on a radio show...how insensitive can you be?!). Then came her marriage (and later divorce) to dancer Kevin "K-Fed" Federline (who, from what I've seen and heard, has turned into a real priority-one jackass as of late), which resulted in two children. Add that to the whole-head-shaving incident, plus all the tabloid garbage, and you have someone who is in desperate need of a proper path in life.I actually feel for people in situations like this, be they famous or not. I was raised by a single mother, and believe me, it ain't easy growing up with only "one side of the story", as it were. I don't really understand why kids look up to people like this. You can be rich beyond measure, and still miserable as hell. Stories like these and more prove it.

I think Ms. Lohan needs to have a long talk with Drew Barrymore. Drew was stealing credit cards from her mom, sneaking into Hollywood parties, became a raging alcoholic, and did drugs when she was barely a teenager. She looked in the mirror, pulled herself together, and has been clean since the age of 14. Lindsay is going through the same thing, only at a later age. If she doesn't get her s*** together like Drew did, she's going to fizzle out and turn into that white girl from Diff'rent Strokes. She's dead, by the way.
