Can Soundwave even be used in a sequel since Bay used Frenzy as a radio already? How can they use Soudwave now? He would have to transform into something different. There is no way that Soundwave would be a radio/boom box/CD-tape player, thus, no way of having any of those cassette tape (or CDs?) Transformers popping out of Soundwave.

The only thing that they could retain from the original Soundwave is his unique voice.

Soundwave in all likeliness won't be a radio anyway. His alt-mode will probably be a vehicle of some kind, since mass shifting robots would be ridiculous on film, and no-one wants Soundwave to be tiny enough to turn into a music player.

Also, he doesn't need cassettes to have minions that pop out of him. Look at Blackout with Scorponok, and Barricade with Frenzy.

Well soundwave could be a mix station that a dj would use at a club or rave, tho well you DID notice that some transformers and the allspark could mass shift right? I mean frenzy mass shifted when he became a phone and megatron was more massive in his vehicle form so mass shifting has been estblished in the franchize
