Jeez I havent heard about this in a long time. Is this the one where that had an article in Wizard last year, where there like saying Doc Ock is gonna look like Stephen King and Green Goblin is really skinny looking?

Would'a been cool if JSC could have disclosed what kind of format this thing is going to be, maybe a maxi I'm thinking. JSC's art rules, but he basically did'nt really say much except it will hopefully ship early next year, and that it has a classic Spider-man feel.

I have a feeling it will be a 12 issue series.
It will be interesting to see how this project is differs to Millar's MKSM, considering that is generally thought to be the Spider-Man Hush. JSC's comments on how it will possibly fit into current continuity
while also being a timeless story are slightly confusing. I'm guessing it won't be Peter in ESU co staring Gwen, Harry and co.

Good point on The MKSM comparison. Millar gave Spidey the Loeb treatment before Loeab could! lol
The continuity thing was a bit confusing... Either they're making their own story, and waiting to see with what the new ASM crew come up with to see if they can tweak their own story to fit in current continuity-or-JSC just didn't know and was BSing

C.B. Cebulski held a Cup 'O Panel at the Fan Expo in Canada and CBR was there to cover it.
He did, however, offer one tidbit that was somewhat “astonishing.” Cebulski said, “The only other thing outside of ‘Brand New Day' that has been announced is the Jeph Loeb and J. Scott Campbell ‘Astonishing Spider-Man' book. They are hard at work on that.”
When pressed if the book was, in fact, called “Astonishing Spider-Man,” Cebulski responded, “We just jokingly refer to it as ‘Astonishing Spider-Man,'” and on to confirm the book is a miniseries, not an arc in one of the “Spider-Man” ongoing titles.

That would be great if they keep the title at Astonishing, I'm liking what I'm hearing about this so far.

Waitaminnit, isn't this supposed to be a MAXI, not MINI series?
It sure is taking JSC a long time if it is a mini :oldrazz:

It's cute how both of them tried their hardest not to mention Wildsiderz.
"I want to get back to my creator owned stuff. Like sketchbooks!"
Bah.

I hope we get to see MJ wearing some skimpy outfits, I think JSC is the man to bring back gratuitous MJ underwear scenes- ala Erik Larsen.
